Thanks. I need to pick up one of these guys to pitch: Waluigi, King Boo, Pianta, Diddy Kong, Wario, or Boo.

Uh, Anthony?

The new poll is messed up, it's showing the votes from the last poll you made. I'd use http://www.pollcode.com for your new poll.

You should never use Yoshi in any position except CF or it wastes his flat-out ridiculous range there, also, he's pretty bad at pitching, no fastball speed or breaking on his pitches.

The only thing I don't like about pollcode is that it's possible for people to vote multiple times

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P

Alright, I'll go to pollcode and set up a new poll.

EDIT: Here's the new poll! http://poll.pollcode.com/w9kd

Yoshi Islanders @ Mario Sunshines

Islanders Sunshines
Yoshi C Green Noki RF
Baby Mario CF Red Noki CF
Birdo P Mario P
Blue Shy Guy 2B Yellow Pianta SS
Yellow Shy Guy 3B Red Pianta 3B
Green Shy Guy SS Luigi C
Black Shy Guy LF Pianta 2B
Shy Guy 1B Monty Mole 1B
Baby Luigi RF Blue Noki LF

The scoring started quickly for the Islanders today. In the top of the second, with men on 1st and 2nd and no one gone, Black Shy Guy blasted a 2 RBI triple to right-center off of Mario. Shy Guy followed up with a single to make it a 3-0 game with nobody out. The scoring would not stop, as, after a Baby Luigi single, Yoshi hit a 2 RBI triple to right-center to make it 5-0, still no outs. Baby Mario followed up with an RBI double to make it 6-0. That was it for Mario, as he swapped positions with Green Noki. But the scoring continued, as Birdo hit an RBI single to make it 7-0, STILL NO OUTS! After a Blue Shy Guy hit a grounder to second that Birdo got out on, but he was safe at first, Yellow Shy Guy hit a double to put men on second and third with one gone for Green Shy Guy, Who would fly out to left, but no run scored to make it two away for Black Shy Guy, who would fly out to center to end the inning with a 7-0 lead.

Neither team would score again until the top of the fourth, when Birdo, with Baby Mario on first and no outs, hit an RBI double to left-center field to make it 8-0 Islanders. After a Blue Shy Guy grounder to short which he hustled out to put men on the corners, Yellow Shy Guy hit a sac fly to left field to make it 9-0 with a man on first and one gone. A groundout, a single, and a groundout ended the game.

The scoring continued in the top of the fifth, when, with Yoshi on second and two gone, Birdo hit an RBI single up the middle. Blue Shy Guy would ground out to short to en the inning.

It was the last chance for the Sunshines in the bottom of the fifth, as Luigi led off with a single over the third baseman's head. Pianta would come up next and hit a single of his own to put men on first and second with no outs. Monty Mole would be struck out by Birdo to make one gone. Blue Noki stepped in and was set down on three pitches to make it two away. Green Noki was the last chance, but on the second pitch a double steal was attempted, and Luigi was thrown out at third to end the game.

Yoshi Islanders 10, Mario Sunshines 0

1 2 3 4 5 R H
Islanders 0 7 0 2 1 10 17
Sunshines 0 0 0 0 0 0 4

I accidentally skipped the stats. But Birdo pitched a complete game shutout.

Yoshi Islanders @ Mario Sunshines

I didn't feel like writing the lineups on this one. The only changes were Yoshi moved to center, Birdo went behind the plate, and Baby Mario on the mound. No changes for the Sunshines.

The Sunshines started the scoring in the bottom of the first with a 2 out Mario solo homer to make it 1-0 Sunshines.

Neither team would score again until the top of the fifth, when Yoshi, with a man on second and one out, hit Mario's Fireball with his Egg Swing for an RBI double to make it a tie game with a man on second and one out in the top of the fifth. Baby Mario would follow up with an RBI single to left to give the Islanders their first lead of the game, 2-1. After a Birdo single put runners on the corners, Blue Shy Guy would hit a liner to left that looked like an easy single, maybe a double, but Blue Noki made a diving catch to make it two gone. Yellow Shy Guy would fly out to end the inning.

The bottom of the fifth was the last chance for the Sunshines. Monty Mole led off with a fly out to right, one away. Blue Noki would line out to second, two away. Green Noki was the last chance for the Sunshines. However, she would strikeout on three pitches to end the game.

1 2 3 4 5 R H
Islanders 0 0 0 0 2 2 8
Sunshines 1 0 0 0 0 1 4

Hitting:
Yoshi: 1-3, RBI
Baby Mario: 1-3, RBI
Birdo: 2-3
Blue Shy Guy: 1-3
Yellow Shy Guy: 0-3
Green Shy Guy: 2-2
Black Shy Guy: 0-2
Shy Guy: 0-2
Baby Luigi: 1-2

Pitching:
Baby Mario: W, CG, 5 IP, 1 R, 4 H, 3 K's

Yoshi Islanders @ Mario Sunshines

Same lineups exactly like last time.

The scoring started early for the Islanders, as Yoshi led off with a single and was driven in by a Baby Mario double. Birdo stepped in and used her Egg Swing to hit an RBI single to left field. Two outs later, with a man on first, Green Shy Guy smashed one that looked like it was going to be a homer, but was an RBI double off the wall instead. After a Black Shy Guy single put men on the corners, Shy Guy followed suit with a single of his own to make it 4-0. Baby Luigi would smack a single to center to drive in yet another run, making it 5-0. Yoshi would step in and hit a 2 RBI triple to right-center to make it 7-0. That would end Mario's tenure on the mound, as he would swap places with Yellow Pianta, who forced Baby Mario to fly out to left and end the inning.

Nobody would score again until the top of the fourth, with runners on second and third with no outs, Yellow Shy Guy hit a sac fly to left to make it 8-0. The man on second would get out trying to go to third on the sac fly. After a single, Shy Guy would hit a 2 RBI triple to make it 10-0. Baby Luigi would line out to first to end the inning.

The Sunshines would be beaten by mercy rule if they failed to score a run. Luigi would lead off with a fly out to center, one gone. Pianta would strike out, two gone. Monty Mole was the last chance for the Sunshines, but struck out on three pitches to end the game.

Islanders 10, Sunshines 0

Team 1 2 3 4 5 R H
Islanders 7 0 0 3 x 10 16
Sunshines 0 0 0 0 x 0 5

Hitting:
Yoshi: 2-3, 2 RBI, SB
Baby Mario: 1-3, RBI
Birdo: 3-3, RBI
Blue Shy Guy: 1-3
Yellow Shy Guy: 0-2, RBI on Sac Fly
Green Shy Guy: 3-3, RBI
Black Shy Guy: 2-3
Shy Guy: 2-3, 3 RBI
Baby Luigi: 2-3, RBI

Pitching:
Baby Mario: W, CG, 4 IP, 0 R, 5 H, 5 K's

Players Acquired:
Mario
Luigi
Pianta
Monty Mole
Noki

Also learned something interesting today. If you mercy rule a team and have full scout flags on their captain, you get all acquirable players on that team.

If you mercy rule anyone under any conditions you get everyone.

Bowser Jr. Challenge!!!

Situation: Islanders up by one, bases loaded for Bowser Jr. Fangs, no outs.

Result:Tie! Baby Mario would strike out Bowser Jr., then forced Dark Dry Bones to fly out to left, but gave up a game-tying single to Green Dry Bones. The next batter lined out to first to end the challenge.

Cooldude: Wasn't sure if it was that or not. Thanks!
