Anyone who is deciding which to get, here is my one complaint about the ps2 version:

The season mode takes FOREVER to sim. I'm talking, 5-10 minutes to sim ONE MONTH.

The wii version is WAY WAY faster.

Huh? I simmed a season in the new power pros for ps2 and it didn't take 5-10 minutes per month, lats years game did but that was for both systems. This year both systems are fatser simming, because I know it didn't take 5-10 minutes per month. It was much quicker than that.

I just went back and tested it to make sure I wasn't forgetting something and I wasn't...it took a little less than 3 minutes to sim from march 25th to the end of april, so I'm not sure where you got that from or if you had some of the settings so that it would notify you about player upgrades, trades, etc...

I wonder why mine is so damn slow.

It takes FOREVER to sim a month. Maybe it's just my ps2.

Could be your system. As great a machine the PS2 is, there are always ones with problems. I've had to send mine in for repairs 3 times for a jammed motor, and a dead lazer twice.

Everything else seems to run fine, but it's like it goes in slow motion when trying to sim a game.

Oh well, i'm not getting another ps2, so I guess I'll just play mlbpp on wii only.

That could be, my ps2 is a newer one and I just got it last christmas for this game and the show. So, that could be it.

This happened to a cousin's Ps2, but he had the old model. He bought a new one and the problem was fixed. It won't be that hard to buy a Ps2 if you have job (& no kids).

$100 for a new ps2, or an extra $20 for the wii version. Why would I buy a new ps2 when I already have a wii?

Oh I didn't notice you have the Wii. I was about to tell you to get the Ps2 version because it's cheaper. Same game.

Are you talking about 07 because it took along time for just about everybody but some people probably have more patience

It was just his ps2, it's old and I guess doesn't run really good.
