I'm somewhere around 5'5".

Baseball started for me too. I have a game today at 5 if I can make it from an orthodontist appointment at 3:20.

My tryouts are on the 12th, and there's basically a 100% chance I'll make it, since:
a) My grade has less than 15 people who are good at baseball (out of 500 freshman, it's ridiculous)
b) I'm already on the summer team.

Our boys basketball team made it to the regional final before losing.

Also, F/S Conference meet for track is today. I'm an alternate for a relay, which means I get to do nothing for 5 hours unless someone breaks their leg while warming up! :D ... :(

Welp, baseball's started for me. Day 1 of tryouts went okay, though there was, like, a bagillion gnats outside, 'twas bad.

Also I have MCAS this week... Yay...

I hate MCAS with a passion.

I'm not sure when Babe Ruth starts up, but I know tryouts are March 24 and I won't be able to make it.

We had two baseball games yesterday.
I got to pitch in JV for the highschool team and gave up 5 runs in two innings,got three K's though.
While I was pitching we had 6 errors,4 by the right fielder,so out of the 5 runs none were earned.
I went 1-3 and stole home.
We lost 8-2
In varsity we had 7 errors,the other team had a 20 year old catcher,and a pitcher with a nasty curve.
They hit one HR over the CF fence.
We got one hit and I got to pinch run for that guy with a man in front of me [one guy got walked] and I stole 2nd while he got thrown out on a great throw,and then stole 3rd 2 pitches later.
It didn't matter as we lost
13-0
That school was 4 times larger then ours!!
Our varsity team is 1-1

Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System, it's a standardized test in Massachusetts, it's easy, but it's shoved down our throats all year. Pretty annoying.
