Lol, my birthday's actually on Tuesday. But yeah, I like to think I'm pretty mature, though I do have my naive moments. I write as a hobby, too, so that helps my cause.

Darkshade is also schedeuled for next week to discuss the collective bargining agreement. And you must write one more rant of 500+ words by Valentine's day to get your $200 incentive

No way! My birthday's on Tuesday too! January 4th FTW! I actually know two other people with that birthday, and it's my dog's birthday as well!

Yes, I know it's a day early, yes it's a bumped old topic, but I thought I would share my thoughts on Power Pros World in 2011, or, as I'd like to call it, the Year of Japanese Power Pros.

It's not gonna be that long, might add in a few things in here when/if someone reminds me of the other stuff that happened on the forum this year, but I'll give it a shot:

MLBPPWorld in 2011 was, safe to say, the year of Japanese Power Pros, highlighted by not one, but 2 logs from Powerprosfan on the 2 Jikkyo Powerfuro Puro Yakyuu games from Japan. Who could forget the Hanshin Tigers and the Kyoto Knights this year? And Kurihara's Home Run chase? He also did 3 Success Mode walkthroughs on YouTube, in both the 2010 and 2011 version.

Also, we had a little more fun than just reading and watching logs. We also had fun teasing a new member, Ham Bone. We mean this with the utmost respect, but we're just teasing you, it's nothing to get upset over if you do get upset.

Along with rookie hazing of sorts, some new forum threads came up, such as the Counting to One Million (now renamed ten thousand) thread. Around 6,000, we decided to switch it from a million to 10,000. So, maybe next year, we can say that we all counted to 10,000.

Ham Bone. I feel those were some important events this year.

I was just about to say that. I joined this year and I would like to say that this place is awesome. We had a bunch of logs over the summer. Wyl logged on for a few minutes.

Along with the Counting To One Million thread, that was pretty prevalent.

You know it's dark days on a forum when it's momentous when a mod logs on for a few minutes. o.o
