Kennedy gets into trouble somehow. Something involving fried chicken.

Stranglers Take Game Three at Yankee Stadium.

Last night Tim Wakefield got his first start of the postseason since the NLDS against Carl Pavano.

The scoring started in the second with Keith Richards doubling. John Lennon singled to make it 1-0.

In the third Scranton scored again. Charlie Watts, Sanchez, and Starr getting back-to-back-to-back singles loading the bases. Two batters later, Ryan Howard, and while Sanchez scored, Starr was thrown out at home. The Yankees held Scranton at two.

In the bottom of that inning, Johnny Damon and Derek Jeter singed and Bobby Abreu drove Damon in. 2-1.

There were many more scoring oppritunities between then and the sixth. The Yankees and the Stranglers both loaded the bases, but both pitchers have gotten out of it. Charlie Watts also led off the fifth with a double, but was stranded at third.

In the sixth Johnny Damon (now public enemy #1 in Scranton) doubled off the tip off Lennon's outstretched glove. Jeter got an RBI single with two outs tying the game at two.

The very next inning on the very next pitch Wake threw was blasted into monument park by A-Rod measured at 436 ft. Wakefield was taken out for Brian Jones. And his first pitch was a home run to Jason Giambi. Another delayed back-to-back home run. The Yankees rallied to get two more runs and made iit 6-2.

The Stranglers were shut out until the ninth. John Lennon, and George Harrison singled. Mick Jagger doubled. The lead was down to 6-3. McLeary hit a grounder and reached on a fielders choice. Safe all around, bases loaded. Pablo came up and hit a clutch RBI double to make it 6-5. Mo Rivera came in. Starr hit a pop fly to left. McLeary tagged up, and slid in safely. It was all quite dramatic. Latroy Hawkins came in after three pitches for Rivera. Kennedy was up next and with Pablo biting his nails at second, Kennedy hit a two run, 406 ft. shot to center field! Scranton took the lead 8-6.

Brian Wilson came in for the save and it was over. Scranton takes the lead 2-1.

As his agent, I would like to know what Howard did exactly.

McCartney contemplates growing a playoff beard.

Azul has some spare blue beard dye. His beard refused to grow, on account of being on the same body as a man-anklet.

McCartney realizes it is too late to grow a full-on, Wilson-esque beard, so he settles on a playoff goatee. He decides to tie-dye his goatee instead of using Azul's spray, but he uses the spray to spell out "WS CHAMPS" on the sleeves of his undershirt.

Howard has agreed to become the new face of the Heinz food company after his success in the regular season.

A-Rod Sinks the Stranglers With a Walk-Off Home Run.

There was very little scoring in game four of the series at the Bronx. Both pitchers threw complete games, and the Yankees bullpen continues to have one combined inning pitched. The matchup today was, Ian Kennedy vs Azul Abuela.

Johnny Damon got right to work, singling on the first pitch in the bottom of the first. Bobby Abreu followed up with a two run home run. The Yankees took an early 2-0 lead.

In the top of the second Scranton got one back with a John Lennon solo shot. But as he crossed home plate it looked like he intentionally bumbed Jorge Posada. Words were exchanged and warnings were issued.

The warnings proved to be meaningless. Pretty much nothing happened until the ninth! There were oppritunities, but all in vain. The pitchers were clutch.

In the ninth Ryan Howard stepped up and got his first hit of the game with a tying home run. An opposite field shot that made it 2-2!

In the ninth Abuela quickly got Damon out, (finally!) but Jeter and Abreu both singled. A-Rod came up. Abuela threw a pitch down the middle and you can guess what happens next, home run to monument park. All Stranglers fans everyhere: :picard:.

Sgt. Pepper "Not much we could do today. Guess we're gonna have to finish it at home." Yes they will.

WP: Ian Kennedy
LP: Azul Abuela

Offensive Stars
NY: Jeter: 2-4, 1 2b, 1 run
NY: Abreu: 2-4, 1 2b, 1 run
Scranton: There were none.

Howard is quite peeved that he wasn't mentioned as one of the offensive stars. He DID tie the game up, after all.

McCartney couldn't be more amped up due to the fact that he could quite possibly pitch the Series clincher in front of the Scranton fans. He goes to run 5 laps around the stadium to prepare himself.
