I'd rather have more player updates, since this log is the only thing with those, and a box score would be cool.

Congrats on the clinch!!

I've got an unrelated question, what do their uniforms look like?

Green and black. I had an earlier player update with them fighting over it. Predominantly dark green at home, mostly black on the road.

I suggest more backstories thoughout the season. Player struggling? STORY! Player winning? STORY!

Oh... I missed that one, sorry.

But thank you for answering!

1. Short log updates, long player news

2. Not unless you want to, I don't think it would really add much.

3. Sgt. Pepper would like to point out an error in the last headline: the players themselves cannot actually take them off. Pepper will be removing them tomorrow morning at the film session. Everyone except Azul, the blue spray paint he put on there renders the anklet dissolution chemical ineffective. So it's pretty much on there forever...

Azul cries.

Player Update

Jagger: Celebratin' time!

Lennon: Yeah baby! Whoo!

McCartney: Get out the champagne!

That's when the head of security at Panpaka stepped in.

Security: No champagne, on account of two players are underage, Chris, 19 and Pablo, 18.

Wilson: That tears it! I wanna rage... NOW!

Pablo: I've got an idea! We can use ginger ale like the Rangers.

Sgt. Pepper: We're one step ahead of you Pablo.

They went crazy and the delayed celebration began.

Miss Kate: You guys are leading the MLB in wins, but there are still doubters. What do you say to those people?

Raul Gaddaba: In the end, we will find you, and you better believe we will strangle you!

Cheers went up around the clubhouse.

The party was great and the faithful fans sat through all of it.

2:00 A.M.

Paul: What a great year.

Chris: It's not done yet. We've still got one game with the Padres, a series against the Phillies, and then the postseason.

Sgt. Pepper: I'd just like to thank you guys. Of all my years of playing, being a bench coach, a hitting coach, a first base coach, a pitching coach, you name it I have not once been able to manage, and have never gotten a taste of October. You've all been so great.

Lennon: Awe...

Sgt. Pepper: 50 push ups Lennon!

Stranglers Face Off Against Diamondbacks; Take Game 1; 4-2

In game one Azul Abuela and Randy Johnson started for their respective teams. More importantly it was Keith Richards' return. He played today for the first time since late August. Now to the game. Azul Abuela and Randy Johnson both pitched very well today. Abuela's only mistake was in the third inning when he gave up a two run home run to Chris Snyder that just went fair down the left field line. And the Diamondbacks had struck first in the Stranglers first ever playoff game. Randy Johnson was dealing. He kept jamming right handed batters with his slider and lefties were just rolling over weak grounders. However, the Stranglers did get a bunch of doubles. The only problem was that the next batter, no matter who it was, killed the rally. The game was going freakishly fast. The Stranglers could not get control.

"As a player, I start getting scared around the sixth inning if you haven't scored a run yet. The pitcher seems to get better and the rest of the game is a blur." Said Chris Kennedy after the game.

Did the Stranglers meet his six inning cutoff? No. Now the Diamondbacks were ready to count outs. Azul Abuela was still pitching really well. In the bottom of the seventh Ryan Howard hit a home run to right center field to get on the board. Jagger then doubled, and Lennon singled him home.

In the the eighth inning, to key plays were made. First Orlando Hudson tripled and when he tried to come home on a ground out to short Pablo threw him out. Then, Mark Reynolds tried to come home on a single and Lennon gunned him down. He got him so easily that Mark Reynolds stopped before he slid because he knew he was out.

Now in the bottom of the eighth John Lennon got on again. After that, Keith Richards hit a double to bring him in on his first game back! Randy Johnson was taken out, but Durbin couldn't stop George. Harrison singled to bring him in!

The inning was over, but the Stranglers took the lead in the bottom of the eighth giving the D-Backs not time to even try to tie the game. Brian Wilson came in and shut them down.

Final Score
Stranglers: 4
Diamond Backs: 2
WP: Azul Abuela
LP: Randy Johnson
Save: Brian Wilson

Key Stats: (D-Backs) Chris Snyder, 1-3 1 HR 2 RBI. (Stranglers) Ryan Howard 3-4 1 HR 2 2B 1 RBI.

September in Review coming next!

Azul Abuela: "So, now can I take my anklet off?"

Sgt. Pepper: I told you not to spray paint it blue... Didn't you read the instruction manual?

So you're in the playoffs right?

Wilson was actually smashing a gatorade cooler when he got the call in the bullpen, because he thought he couldn't pitch.

Pablo pats himself on the back for the out at home plate.

Yeah we made the playoffs. I'm not looking at the playoffs schedule now, but since its power pros it probably looks like: Stranglers vs. D-backs, Reds vs. Mets, Yankees vs. Tigers, and Indians vs. Angels. Power Pros is THAT predictable.

September in Review

Miss Kate: Wow. Where do we start? The Stranglers had such a great month.

Dennis: Why not start here? The Stranglers clinched the division and went 22-3.

Miss Kate: They finished with an amazing 19 game winning streak.

Dennis: They are by far the hottest team in baseball right now.

Jack: As they finished the regular season they went 104-58. That is the best record in Major League Baseball.

Harry: Ryan Howard won Player of the month and Kennedy won rookie of the month for the N.L.

The Stranglers will play game 2 against the Diamondbacks tonight.

Stranglers Take 2-0 Lead In NLDS

Today the Stranglers sent Raul Gaddaba to the mound with a 1-0 lead. Ryan Howard has been on a roll lately, and today he kept it going. In the first he hit a two run shot just fair down the left field line.

Raul Gaddaba was already pitching with an early two run lead when, in the bottom of the second, John Lennon doubled, and Keith Richards hit a home run.

Raul was cruising along when, after a few cheap hits, Stephen Drew brought Conor Jackson home. Justin Upton came up and laid down a bunt with the bases loaded and Orlando Hudson scored.

With a 4-2 cusion Keith Richards hit his second homer of the day, and made it 5-2.

The Diamondbacks wouldn't go down without a fight. Conor drove in Stephen Drew to make the score, 5-3.

George Harrison added more insurance for Scranton with another Scranton longball. Kennedy tripled and scored on an error by the first baseman.

WildThing came in for the eighth inning and gave up two runs. Brian Wilson got the save in the ninth inning.

Stranglers: 7
Diamondbacks: 5
WP: Raul Gaddaba
LP: Brandon Webb
Save: Brian Wilson
