The Devils had a mediocre May, going 13-14. They started the month at 2-12. They managed to stay one game above .500, at 28-27, and they are tied for second in the AL West with the Seattle Mariners, 5 games behind the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, whom are 33-22. Jayo, last month's rookie of the month, has cooled down a bait, with a .293 average, 4 home runs, and 29 RBIs. But, Cresse, third spot in the lineup, right fielder, has emerged from the shadows. He has a .306 average with 11 home runs and has improved greatly over the past month. Ray Winslow is hitting for power and RBIs, with 10 roundtrippers and 44 RBIs. His average has taken a plunge, now, it stands at .243. Rookie sensations Hinshaw and Aaron White are still a part of the team. The former, with a .295 average, 9 HR, and 29 RBIs. The latter with a .331 average, 2 HR, and 30 RBI. Barnwell, the last batter in the lineup, has picked it up as well. He bats .311, with no home runs, and 20 RBIs.

The Alaska Devils are tied for 13th in the MLB with a 28-27 record.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have taken the lead, having a 37-18 record, 3 games ahead of the second place Mets.
The Chicago Cubs have slipped into last place, with a 21-34 record.
The Samurais are tied for 28th, going 23-32.

The Devils still have no league leaders. But, some notables are A-Rod's .400 average and 57 RBIs, Ortiz's 18 HRs, Ichiro's 17 stolen bases, and Pettite's 7 wins. F. Rodriguez also has 17 saves already.

The Devils had one player of the week, from May 19-May 25, Cresse (RF) batted .556 with 4 homers and 9 RBIs.

The draft is this month, and the Devils are hoping to get some new young talent.

How come Hinshaw doesn't bat third and Cresse bat fifth? Do you base the lineups on how good the players are doing?

I didn't spend too much time on lineups for this log, considering I mostly base my lineups on personal preference and I'm playing none of the games.
