What effects can result in playing a player at a position they aren't good with? Would it just be a higher chance of errors, or would there even be that? I'd assume a higher chance of errors, but has anyone tested it? Putting someone who's technically a fielder in as a pitcher wouldn't be a problem if they actually have decent pitching abilities, would it?

Players definitely make more errors when playing a position they don't normally, but a fielder on the mound would perform like his abilities say.

They throw slower, and yes, they do make more errors.

There are definitely more errors from out-of-position fielders. Haven't tried putting them at pitcher though.

I edited Wilson Valdez into the game and gave him E stam + E control with like 85 top spd. because of his performance against the Reds haha.

I struck out one or two hitters, but besides that I was giving up homers and hits all over.
