You should be able to look at the transactions for all teams from the last free agent signing period. It's been a while since I've done it, so I could be wrong.

Reapers won Season Opener Against Mariners 2-0. Duke pitched complete game shutout, David Wright hit 2 run home run in the 9th inning (despite worst possible condition).

End of April:
Both Rookie of the Month and Relief Pitcher of the Month were not awarded despite there being both Rookies and Relief Pitchers actively playing in the League. :picard:

Financial Report:
Total Income: 15423
Total Expenses: 9420
Total Gain: 6003
Current Amount: 133622

The Reapers had a good month of April, with an 18-10 record, unfortunately for them, just like in 2009 it seems like this will be a very tough Division, as they are only leading the Division by one game, only 3 games stand between first place and fourth.

Standings (a feature I had apparently simply forgotten about for a while, I'll add something else to it now that I've brought it back):
AL West:
Reapers: 18-10, --
Athletics: 17-11, 1GB
Angels: 15-13, 3 GB
Mariners: 15-13, 3 GB
Rangers: 9-19, 9 GB
Other notable records:
The Penguins, at 15-13, are in 3rd place in the AL East, 3 games back of first.
Overall, the Mets lead the Majors with a 20-8 record.
The Nationals are tied with the Pirates for last place with a 7-21 record.

The Reapers pitching has surprisingly not been near as well as it had been in the past, the team ERA is about 0.6 worse than first place in the Division. Zach Duke has unsurprisingly been their best pitcher, with a 4-0 record and 2.33 ERA. Fireballer's ERA is 3.44, which is more than 2.00 higher than his usual. The disappointments coming from the pitching staff are many. Webb has a 10.6 ERA, Okajima has an 8.59 ERA, McMillon has a 5.73 ERA, Cosme's is 5.70, and Phil Hughes has an ERA of 6.30.

Jack Cust has been a pleasant surprise for the Reapers, leading the team by hitting .379 with 28 RBIs. Home run leaders are Bay and Hart with 7 each. David Wright leads the team in hits with 37, he also has 6 home runs and a .356 average. Disappointments in the batting lineup would be Youkilis, with a .226 average, and Reyes with a .236 average. If not for their home run totals, the averages of .247 and .248 of Bay and Hart could be considered a disappointment.

Reapers lineup has been adjusted according to performances:
1. Pedroia
2. Siegmund
3. D.Wright
4. Cust
5. Bay
6. C.Hart
7. B.Harris
8. J.Reyes
9. Youkilis
Cust has replaced Bay in LF in no DH games.

End of May:
David Wright won Player of the Month, hitting .402 with 7 home runs and 27 RBIs. McMillon won Rookie of the Month, with a 1.74 ERA and 9 strikeouts. Sergio Mitre won Pitcher of the Month, with 4 wins, a 1.67 ERA, and 32 strikeouts. Relief Pitcher of the Month was not awarded. This makes this month the best month ever for the Reapers as far as awards are concerned.

Financial Report:
Income: 18664
Expenses: 19734
Total loss: 1070
Current amount: 132552

The Reapers had a 19-9 month of May, bringing their record to 37-19, as the other teams in the Division seem to have fallen apart a bit, they now lead the Division by 5 games.

Standings:
AL West
Reapers: 37-19, --
Angels: 32-24, 5GB
Mariners: 30-26, 7GB
Athletics: 28-28, 9GB
Rangers: 22-34, 15GB
Other Notable Records:
The Penguins, at 28-28, are in third place in the AL East, 8 games behind first.
Overall, the Mets lead the Majors with a 39-17 record.
The Orioles, after a bad month, have decisively taken last place in the Majors with a 16-40 record, five games behind second last.

Overall, the Reapers pitching has improved a lot in the past month, now leading the Division as they usually have in the past. Mitre has been surprising, with a 1.81 ERA and a 7-1 record. Haren is the member of the Reapers starting rotation without enough innings pitched to qualify in the standings. Duke has been unsurprising in his greatness, with a 2.24 ERA and an 8-1 record. Fireballer lowered his ERA to 2.61 and the only pitcher that still has an ERA over 10 is Brian Bass, at 10.5.

Jack Cust has continued to be great for the Reapers, but his average has fallen to .355, with 15 home runs, which leads the team. David Wright has brought his average to an amazing .379. Siegmund leads the team with 7 stolen bases. At this point, there really aren't any notable disappointments for the Reapers, with everyone hitting over .250, and a team average that now leads the Division, and a home run total that is second in the MLB, only behind the Red Sox.

I don't really keep track, I know it's probably never more than 2 or 3 in a month.

That probably won't change with the exception of October, and maybe in July if I feel like playing a lot of games including the All Star Game.

Reapers Acquire Ethier:

A couple weeks before the draft, the Reapers seem to be looking to clear some space for their picks, making a 2 for 1 deal with the Dodgers. This deal sends away two Reapers prospects in exchange for someone who has already reached their potential, it is unknown whether moves like these will have negative long term effects for the team.

Reapers get:
Andre Ethier
1710 points

Dodgers get:
Gautreau
Conti

Unfortunately for Lockwood, this deal with send him down to AAA. At the moment, Ethier is planned to be a substitution for pretty much any kind of scenario, as he has a good balance between speed, hitting talents, and fielding talents.

I just realized that the STR in STR Finisher stands for "strong"... wow.

Did you think it stood for something else, or did you just not think?

I actually don't know if it's referred to as "strong finisher" anywhere in the game, there is a spot in Success Mode it's called "starter finisher", but really, of the two of those, which makes more sense?

I always thought it was starter finisher, never really thought it made sense, but I went with it. Strong finisher makes much more sense, but I never thought of it.

I think I like the Round 2 guy better than Round 1.

I think it is mentioned as Strong Finisher in '07, and Starter Finisher in '08. The latter actually makes more sense to me, since it is mainly for starters with endurance, and not just electric closers.

Yeah, he starts out much better with a slightly lower potential, I don't think I've ever drafted a pitcher with B Stamina or Star, so drafting someone with both is kind of surprising. Hard to tell when he'll make the MLB team, should be at the start of a year, maybe next year if my pitching gets weaker in the offseason.

I think he'll wind up way more useful than the guy with 5 potential, I still have a pitcher with 4 potential I got in year 1 but he hasn't really made much progress. Maybe if I spent more on pitching equipment than batting equipment, but, overall my pitching was too much better for that to be a smart move.

I may have to use him in games at the same time as the backup catcher just for fun.
