Just got it (PS2 version), stores in my area apparently didn't receive their shipments until today. Snagged the last copy at the Gamestop near my work.

Trust me, you're not the only one. A lot of people at operation sports are talking about how their gamestops only get 2-3 copies, and some best buys aren't getting it until august 4th some people have found out.

What???? That is stupid, why would they take away the schedule, but some people said it was way faster to sim a season so there has to be a way to skip ahead without going day by day.

Relax my friends. You can still view the schedule. It's mapped to a button in this year's game. It's listed on the bottom of the screen with the help options. For PS2 it's the square button.

Also, I'm confirming that the Bullpen option is only for Exhibition games and that really, really sucks!



Ahh, I did not look that carefully. I've only been able to play 2 games so far.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Also, the no Bullpen in season mode is really lame. I know it makes it easier without it, but I like the added realism.

I was able to get mine on Wednesday afternoon. My Gamestop still didn't get any PS2 copies but they called a nearby store and they held one for me.

Picked up mine on sunday, already got 2 guys fired in MLB life mode (just up and created a player both times) I suppose I'll have to drop the pitch speed from FAST to normal if I'm going to survive @ expert. I hate batting, but I'm killer at pitching.

I picked mine up the day the game came out and I love it. I did not play last years vesion but heard so many good things about it that I got it.
