Image VS ImageGame 6 was an epic pitchers duel, Hideo Nomo and Phil Hughes both gave up only 1 run, Nomo pitched 7 2/3, Hughes pitched 6 2/3, after that, there were no runs until the 11th where the Johnny Damon got a walkoff single off Chris Ray. Chris Ray has been frustrating this year, sometimes he's been unhittable because he throws around 97 from sidearm with a level 2 slider and splitter, but sometimes, they just kill him, I should have brought Fernando Cabrera in, bad decision on my part.

The Orioles blew it, Fernando Cabrera blew it,Jason Maxwell blew it,but most of all, the manager blew it. The magic all came to an end, the Orioles were actually winning 8-6, then Nick Markakis hit a 3 run homer, then Chris Ray gave up two runs, and heading into the 9th the Orioles were up 11-8 with Fernando Cabrera on the mound, but he gave up 3 runs and left the game with runners on 2nd and third with 1 out, Jason Maxwell came in and old friend Ramon Hernandez got a single to get the Yankees to the world series. It was depressing for the orioles, I'm not even going to post the wins or losses or homers or saves or score, but the Orioles had a great year that nobody expected, it just came to an end.

On that note what should my off season plans be? I'm thinking of trying to trade for Matt Holliday, trade makes sense, happened in real life, Rockies were terrible, only 1 year left on contract. But what do you guys think?

I always build on potential, so try getting young, not costly guys in FA and also in trades for your older players. A good thing about getting young players in this game is that most of them don't cost much and are under contract for 4+ years.

The brewers won the World series, I traded Luke Scott and Aubrey HUff for Matt holliday, it is a fair trade becauase Scott has a 3 year deal for only 1000 a year, and hit 30 homers last year with a .300 average, the Orioles get the offensive monster they want, I also traded some points for Jason Bartlett, he has B fielding and B arm strength plus base stealing 4

I traded around 3000 points for Brendan Harris, amazing trade, can play 3rd, 2nd and short, has B power, C contact, and has Vs lefty 4. He will DH for me and play utility man.

I traded around 4000 points for Rich Hill, the team is 13 games behind the Red SOx and 4 behind the Yankees.

after an 84-78 season, the Orioles decided to fill the hole in center field and pick up Andruw Jones for a two year 9000 per year contract.

we traded Adam Jones and Matt Albers who had an 8.02 ERA last year for 2200 points from the tigers, but wow, everyone in the AL east is making a huge push, the Rays just traded Carlos Pena for Francisco Rodriguez, ugh now the closers I have to go against are

Yankees Mariano Rivera
Red Sox Jonathan Papelbon
Blue Jays BJ Ryan
Rays Francisco Rodriguez

oh btw the Yankees won the WS

Woah, try to keep us updated a little more. Every other post someone wins the world series. It's hard to get drawn into any kind of excitement like that.

Rich Hill has been an absolute savior to my pitching staff, he won pitcher of the month, I recommend getting him in any season you're in
