If you have the powerful version of the items, does it help to get the lesser versions as well?

Also, anyone have any updates on how to get any of the items? I know the medium level fly ball bat isn't available from the start of the game like the wiki says.

I'm starting to think they don't stack, when you have two, and a player practices it, it only shows the higher level one under "Practice equipment".

Pretty sure they don't stack. Press "-"at the training screen to show the levels of each practice type. Powerful equipment will bring the level to 3, overriding any previous equipment.

Well, I guess it still doesn't hurt to have the lower versions as well considering equipment breaks without any notice.

Also, just found out now, equipment can break even if you aren't using it.

My book just disintegrated into nothing even though nobody touched it for months, that makes a lot of sense.

I wonder if it just randomly picks a piece of equipment to break, then having a lot of equipment would be really helpful.

Maybe get all the equipment you need, then pile up on the cheapest equipment so that the cheap ones break instead of the expensive ones.
