Wilson hops into the totaled car, and gets it to start after yelling at it, and drives back to Scranton.

Player Update
The boys were in prison. John was playing the harmonica, Brian was being Brian, Pablo was asleep, and Chris was crying.
They were supposed to be held for the night, but they got released on good behavior and crying. It was too late to go back to Scranton so they spent the night at Gramma's house in Wilkes-Barre. George Harrison calledd it the best celebration ever.

Game Update

The Stranglers have been on a roll, but tonight at Shea the Mets stopped them dead in their tracks. The Mets beat down on The Stranglers and Brian Jones taking an 8-1 lead early. Brian Jones left the game with elbow pains and on account of doing terrible. Manager Sgt. Pepper said "I don't care if he is gonna be out long he will not be retuning to the rotation!
Jones declined to comment on the situation. The Stranglers rallied to make it 8-4 with Kennedy's two triples, but that wasn't enough on April 15th as the Stranglers lose 8-4.

WP: Mike Pelfrey
LP: Brian Jones
MVP: Carlos Delgado

Sstranglers Look For Revenge Against Mets At Home Behind Solid Defense. 4/23
Today's game started with a great play from Mick Jagger and ended with one too. First pitch of the game Reyes pops it back and Jagger made the catch up against the wall. Castillo reached base, but then David Wright grounded up the middle, Ringo dived made the glove flip to Pablo and Pablo threw it to first for the double play. The scoring didn't start until the fifth when John Lennon and Keith Richards both singled and George Harrison doubled them home. Bono, helping his own cause singled George home making it 3-0. The very next inning Kennedy hit a solo shot into the right field bullpen. In the seventh David Wright finally got the Mets on the board hitting a homerun to left hitting the foul pole. Other then that Bono pitched a gem going 8 innings and only giving up the one run. WildThing came in for the save, probably his last for a while as Brian Wilson is fully healthy and is eligible to come off the DL tommorow, a three up three down inning as Mick Jagger made the same catch did at the begining of the game to end it.

WP: Bono
LP: Oliver Perez
Save: WildThing

A game I will not post about because I was very frustrated with it.
Pirates 10
Stranglers 5

Ryan Howard was brutal on defense for us. He blew to double play balls. One the ball was hit to him, he threw to Pablo at second and as Pablo through to Raul Gaddaba covering first Howard cut off the throw! THe other on he dropped.

Nobody is more frustrated with his play that game than Howard. He will certainly try to do a lot better next game.

Wilson knew that using his left hand would help, and is glad to return.

Pablo thinks that Kennedy needs to tone down on the drugs instead of taking more.

Player Update

Mia: Sgt. Pepper. Do you like how your team is doing?

Sgt.: Of course. We are first place in the major leagues.

Mia: Some players call you a drill seargent type manager. How do you respond to that?

Sgt.: Who said that? Was it Kennedy? When you get down I want 50 pushups!

Kennedy was hung from his belt on top of the door. For dissing Mick Jagger again by accident. He was still not very popular.

Kennedy: Okay I got down.

Mia: So Kennedy do you think you'll break the record for strikeouts today?

Kennedy: You again? Weren't you demoted?

Paul: So Mia what do you want to know? My lifetime acheivments? Oh... Wait.

Miss Kate: Out of the way sister! It's my time to shine! Kennedy you won player of the month for April. Your response?

Kennedy: Yes it was certainly an honor. Everythong has seemed to click in my first month.

Marvin: Cheif! You're too close to Miss Kate!

Kennedy: Marvin my college buddy! When did you get here?

Marvin: I'm on the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees now.

Paul: Oh so he can play for the Yankees, but I can't?

Miss Kate: Anyway, The Stranglers were great this month, leading the majors in wins and losses. Individually Chris Kennedy won the monthly MVP for the national league and is leading the RBI race. Ryan Howard is in second place in the home run category. John Lennon, Keith Richards, and George Harrison have all been great for The Stranglers and while Mick Jagger is hitting well for power and is playing well defensively he needs to step up batting average wise. Paul McCartney and Azul Abuela have been leading the way in the pitching categories for Scranton. And Pablo Sanchez and Ringo Starr are beasts on defense. Also Pablo has the most hits in the N.L. Overall The Stranglers have been great. Will they keep it up? Or will they falter like many young teams down the stretch? Find out here same time same place.

Kennedy, Marvin, and McCartney simultaneously: I think I love you.

To Be Continued...

Stranglers beat Down on Pirates 8-1 as McCartney wins again.

Kennedy started things off in the first by hitting a solo shot on top of the casino at Panpaka Park. Lennon also hit a solo shot of his own to dead center field. Ryan Howard hit a couple of doubles and Paul McCartney had a pair of singles and scored a run. Kennedy doubled again driving in Paul and Ringo. The Pirates finally got on the board with Adam LaRoche scoring on the home run leader Jose Bautista. Paul McCartney finished what he started again allowing 1 ER and zero walks with nine srikeouts in nine innings pitched.

MVP: Paul McCartney

Stranglers Lose in Interleague play Orioles win 9-7. 5/16

Brian Jones got another chance to start today getting immediate run support 3-0 in the first. He gave up a 3 run shot the very next inning to Luke Scott. The Stranglers got 4 more runs making it 7-3. Jagger, Sanchez, Howard, Starr, Kennedy, and Harrison being the leading contributors. The Orioles strung a few hits together and made it 7-5. Harrison then misjudged a flyball and was charged with an error as Aubrey Huff crossed the plate making it 7-6. Brian Jones came out with the lead, but Rudy Seanez and WildThing blew it.
WP: D.Cabrera
LP: Rudy Seanez
MVP: Luke Scott

Player update coming soon.
Preview: Stranglers announce newsperson.

If I could suggest something, could you add the final score to all of your game updates, like:

Scranton Stranglers: 4,200,497
Philadelphia Phillies: -3

Obviously that won't happen, but something like that.
