I voted contact hitter for the draft for a couple reasons.

You rarely ever see contact hitters drafted.

And my log just drafted a power hitter and a pitcher.

Reds rookie Snare and Sox starter Lester battled it out today in Cincy. Both had stellar performances. Snare went 5 innings with 5 Ks and giving up 1 hit. And Lester matched the preformance at that time. Nobody scored until the 9th. When Phillips smacked a double, and Votto got a single. Shaving cream was not on hand, so Stubbs hit Snare and Votto in the face with grilled cheese sandwiches.

Reds 1 5 0

WP: Bell (4-2)

LP: Lester (4-4)

MVP: Votto (walk off single)

Trade offer. Reds offer struggling vet Rolen for promising starter Jered Weaver. Weaver is paid 390,000, while Rolen is paid 1,800,000. 3 star trade.
