Bob received 3 e-mails the next day from Rudy.

"Hey, we now have all of our starting fielders. Now let's find some pitching." said Bob to himself.

I JUST realized I forgot to put if players are right or left handed. I'll put it on when I release the starting lineup when I actually start the season. I'm gonna try to make Bryan Murphy the ace. Any good pitch suggestions that I should give him, that are good for strikeouts? He is already getting a screwball.

Knuckleball. Slow Curve, too.

Description:This kid is fast, and will make a good leadoff hitter. He has a little trouble with getting on base though, but he should do fine. As for fielding, he can do it well, and he has average arm strength. The only catch is that he makes a lot of errors. He is an upbeat guy though, and will help the teams morale.

Sorry d-tigers, I tried as best as I could, but I couldn't make him exact.

Actually, that's pretty good! I wanted the abilities to be kind of similar to my own in real life, and those are actually pretty close. I never thought about it, but I do actually start to heat up sometimes, so Hot Hitter is a good ability for him to have.

Maybe even a slurve could work too. Or a knuckle-curve.

Description:The best candidate for potential ace, with his 5 breaking pitches, compared to the others' 3. He needs to develop pretty much all of them though to become a top pitcher, but you have to remember that he's only a rookie. Great rookies are hard to come by, and this guy was the closest to ace material I could find.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I was gonna improve on his breaking balls more, but then I realized that his top speed was only 83 or so. So then that became my priority, since I only had enough money to buy 2 glove waxes at the time. Murphy is gonna dominate after 2-3 years though, after his breaking balls all go up more. I am SO excited to start playing games! I just have to do 4 relievers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then IT'S GAME TIME! Is 5 relievers enough?

I've played at least 10 exhibition games with these guys, and I've only lost once to the Tigers. Hopefully it's realistic once I start the season. Update on players? Sure! I'll go through the lineup. :D

Stewart-Good job at leadoff, went 4-4 last game. He also has about 4-5 stolen bases
Jones-I made this guy, so no agent. But, he has gotten some good hits. Has about 3 or 4 2B's, and 1-2 SB
Gordon-Is a beast. Has 5-6 homers, and is an amazing defender. Doubled 2 or 3 times
Gonzalez-No agent. Good power hitter, a few less homers than Gordon, and doesn't get as many hits
Greene-Good hitter, 3-4 homers, a couple doubles. Not very good average though. Reminds me of Prince Fielder
Withey-No agent. O.k. This is where the lineup drops off. TONS of groundouts and flyouts.
Anderson-O.k. Line drives almost ALWAYS get nabbed by an infielder, robbing a hit.
Backe-Good average, singles often
Allen-Pretty much Backe's twin, except he's righty and Backe's lefty

Murphy-1 game, 8 IP, 6 K's, 0 R. Nice pitcher. He's the ace for now. Just got done with a game, and am impressed. Better than I thought.
Techer-2 games- 10-12 K's, 6 R. Those were guesses on his stats, but he's the 4 starter.
Hallet-UNFINISHED

Um... any comments? Is 5 relievers enough, or too many, or just right? Also, robhallet, I'm gonna give your guy a sinker instead of a screwball. After I go eat breakfast. :P

I usually go for 6 relievers.

Yeah... I finished Rob Hallett, and I was planning on posting my closer too. BUT, I have to go visit my great aunt, so I probably won't tonight either, since my nephews are coming then. Then, I go to Milwaukee Sunday. So, there might not be any updates until Monday. :( I don't like it either.
