No, he's in third. He's behind Adam Dunn and someone else, can't remember who.

Congrats on the crown. How many wins are you gonna get? I predict 112 wins, and 60 losses for your final record.

Did the MLB raise the season-game limit to 172 games? :P

But congrats on the crown; this log is great! :D

Detroit Tigers (61-93) @ Kansas City Royals (106-48)
September 23, 2012

KANSAS CITY -- The Royals lost to the Tigers as Anthony Ziegler couldn't handle the opposing lineup, and the Royals lineup couldn't get to Justin Verlander until it was too late. Brandon Inge supplied the first of the Tigers runs in the first with an RBI double. Tigers catcher Bonilla added two more in the third with a two-run single. Then Brandon Inge and Derrek Lee hit back-to-back solo shots to start the fifth and send Ziegler to an early shower. The Tigers would get one more later in the inning against Leo Nunez with an RBI single by Clete Thomas. The Royals finally began their offense with an RBI single by Alex Gordon in the fifth. David DeJesus managed to score a run in an odd way in the sixth, belting a triple in the gap in left-center, and scoring on a bad throw from center fielder Clete Thomas to the third baseman Brandon Inge. John Buck hit an RBI single in the seventh, and then the Royals tried to get something started against Tigers reliever Denny Bautista in the ninth. Khalil Greene got an RBI double, and the Royals loaded the bases, but were unable to complete a comeback.

September in Review

The Royals had a very consistent season with consistent records each month. September was no different as the Royals went 19-9 and finished the season with the major league best record of 111-51. While September was their worst month as far as runs allowed with 92, it was their second best record in runs scored with 129. The Royals had a lot of strong finishes to the season. Nick Johnson reached 150 RBI, David DeJesus almost reached 70 stolen bases, Kyle Davies almost reached 20 wins, and Joakim Soria almost reached 40 saves. Those are a lot of almosts, but still very good statistics. The Royals hope to continue their momentum into the postseason as they face the Tampa Bay Rays in the Division Series.
