Nagoya Dome, Nagoya, Chubu – Manager, Akinobu Miyumi’s quote sums up the entire game. Seriously? We should have won this game, no question. But an error by Ryo extended the 5th, allowing 3 runs to score. Which in the end, was a problem. Despite that error, he did mighty fine on the offensive side of things, going 3-5, with a double, and 2 RBI. Tani, like usual, produced in the clutch (early in the game) to give the Tigers the lead 7-4 with a 3-run bomb to left field. Kawamoto, too, got 3 RBI himself and a double too.

Rookie Nabeshima (of the Dragons) had the game of his career, going 4-5, with 3 RBI in the Dragons win. Before the start of the game, he was batting a nice .068, but now, he’s at .200! Congratulations!

In other (bad) news, Fumihiko Saito made a nice diving catch in the 8th inning, but came out of the game complaining of arm pains. Turns out, he hurt his arm, and will be out for the next 5 days. Nothing major, but still, it hurts. Keiichi Hirano will be starting in place of him, for the time being.
