My baseball team won a game 28-5 yesterday... for some reason there was no mercy rule so we just kept hitting.

We had a team win a playoff game in our middle school league 31-3. Everyone makes the playoffs so they were playing the "push-over" team that didn't win the game. With Mercy Rule of 15 runs up after 3 innings. You CANNOT score that many runs in 3 innings JUST hitting the ball. Some coaches won't tell their kids not play hard because it "creates badd habits". True, but you can stop stealing bases, and no matter how well the ball is hit, you can still hold for a single. You can "Hitter's Swing" (Intentionally Swing and Miss 3-0 so you get a good pitch to hit.) as well to attempt to cut down on walks also. Seriously, don't blowout teams like that, it shows no class and being on the receiving end of it last year for the whole year was not fun.

School is finaly over!!!!
My baseball team is 3-3,and are season is almost over.
Just hoping to make allstars to play more baseball.

We didn't steal at all once we were up by about 10, and we didn't even advance on passed balls. Honestly, we didn't do anything besides hit. Their pitchers only threw about 45-50 mph. I felt bad, but I wasn't going to get out on purpose...

Also, it was their coaches decision to keep playing. It was sort of an informal tournament thing with only 4 teams so there weren't any official rules. We thought the game was going to be over when we got up by 10 but they wanted to keep going.

Our baseball hasn't even started yet. We don't have All-Stars either, but I wish we did. I guess we wouldn't be good enough to compete with all the other REAL traveling teams. I'm excited for baseball to start though.

I went to King's Island, and lost my phone on a ride called Firehawk.

My Baseball season just ended. We are 6-11. Got a total of 2 At bats. Got a walk and a strike out. Hopefully will get more at bats next year. Bout to train over the summer for soccer.

Its kinda fun checking the mail everyday.

During my senior year, we won a slug fest (more like a walk fest) against our high school rival 32-29. It was the 2nd game of a double-header and both teams were short on pitchers after the first game, which we lost 23-15. Nobody could throw strikes, and when they did, the ball was generally hammered to or over the fence. The 99-run total was a state record and USA Today ran a story about it.

That's awesome! Do you still hold the record?

To redsox,, what is ttm? And, I just learned that our first baseball practice is tomorrow after school. I'm going to try out at SS and Pitcher. Usually, in Little League, its "everybody gets a chance to play". But, we have 3 high schoolers coaching us, and they are all about winning. I like them a lot, and I think our team will do all right. Everybody is going to make the team though, since we only have 11 or 12 going out.

How fast can you throw?

Ttm means through the mail.
You write a letter to someone (Athlete,actor,comidian,etc) asking them for their autograph.
You also send something for them to sign like a card or photo.

To d-tigers, it doesn't really matter how fast you can throw around here, if your accurate and don't throw BP, with a decent breaking pitch, your gonna be one of the best pitchers on the team. We don't have a speed gun either. Our high school has 86 people in it. That's with 4 classes. Our school isn't that big. We had our 1st practice today, and it looks like I'm starting SS and a pitcher, and I should be batting 1st or 2nd. We have a surprising amount of power on our team, and we're decent at fielding. I think we can be decent. Our coaches are hilarious too. There were 7 of them there today. The weren't always using appropriate language, and they were always joking. It was fun.

Wow, 86 people? The high school I'm going to be going to next year has 1,500-2,000 people with 4 classes.
