We started on Sept. 1st, and we get out on the 27th of May. Our school hours are 8:00-3:15. Are yours different? Maybe that's why we get out earlier.

These Louisiana school systems

We go from 8:15-3:30. We started school on the 2nd Monday of august I believe

My school started the day after Labor Day, and I get out on the 10th of June. We go from 7:43 to 2:48.

My school started day after Labor Day, and runs from 7:25 to 2:00.

Although they had a stupid rule last year for makeup days that every class for 2 months would have 5 minutes added to it, making each school day 20 minutes longer for the 2 months. Ri. Di. Cu. Lous.

I'm currently reading the new Rick Riordan book. 100 pages in, and its an amazing book.

I like the avatar Rob, and I would be really screwed up if I were in school at 7:25. Our classes actually don't start until 8:15, but we are supposed to be there by 8:00.

My bus driver runs a second route too, for middle schools, so she has to come early. So I get up around 5:30 to get ready. Every day.

School's been out for a week now, and the rain is pouring in Kentucky. Now I'm trying to master Owner Mode in MVP 05. But, I suck. Does anyone know some tips to actually make a profit?

YESSSSSS I love that game. Nearly impossible to turn a profit in the first couple of years. The best way to make money is to not worry about salary, just focus on making the playoffs, then jacking up prices. Make sure you have budgets set to "large", and it helps to trade players with salaries over 6 million, but if you can't, don't worry about it.

Starting with 5 million, buy the first seating upgrade and a soda vendor. This will use all your cash but they're two of the more useful things to buy. Start your prices low, ($30 lower deck, $15 upper deck, $20 field). Basically, keep lower deck prices twice as high as upper deck, and field right in the middle. I usually increase to 40-20-30 late May, then increase prices again right after the All-Star Break, then again early September, but only if I'm still in the playoff race.

Make sure you check your schedule regularly for the upcoming "game impacts", and alter prices slightly for games under 3 or over 6 (plus or minus 5 to all.)

I just won a drawing for a picture, framed, of my city's runner-up Girl's Basketball Team! Now I don't have to cook for my parents!!!

Our varsity team made it to state playoffs, and our first playoff game was today. I was the starting left fielder, and the only sophomore starting that game. But unfortunately, our team lost. However, I still had a lot of fun, and we played great. And that's all I wanted, really.
