Draft 2012

The Royals have had another decent draft this year. They have drafted two young arms, one lefty and one righty. In the first round, they drafted Drew Ormand, a 22 year old lefty with a good fastball, and pitches good against lefties. His main weakness is his control. In the second round, they drafted righty Steven Blackburn. Blackburn won't blow anyone away with his fastball, but he's got several breaking ball pitches he can use.

Hey everyone! I'm back! After almost two months in which I played a month in my Cubs dynasty in MVP 2005 and a month in my Rockies franchise in PP 2008, I have returned to play a couple more months of this franchise! I may be able to go a lot faster now since school is almost over. I still have finals on Monday and Tuesday  , but then I'm done with school! :D

June in Review

The Royals had another great month in the month of June, going 18-9 in the month, and currently having the best overall record in the majors at 58-24, 10 games up on the Cubs with the second best record at 48-34. At this rate, the Royals could have a chance to break the record for most wins in a single season, which is 116. The Royals offense continues to flourish this season. Nick Johnson is by far the best hitter in the lineup with a .337 batting average, 18 home runs, and 72 runs batted in. He is also second in the majors in hits with 112, behind only Joe Mauer of the Twins who has 119 hits. The Royals are also continuing to pitch well. Kelvim Escobar is the team's first pitcher to 10 wins with his 10-3 record. Ricky Dinas is tied for the majors with the lowest ERA at 2.33. The Royals also had a good draft in the past month, drafting two young arms, a lefty and a righty. It will be exciting to see when they make it to the majors.
