I saw it. 2 outs and 2-2 count with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the 9th, Cubs up by one and Rick Ankiel hit a 3-run triple

Well, the Cubs lost in the worst way possible and Lee went 0-for-4, but on the bright side, they were giving out free cans of oddly-flavored pringles after the game! (We got 2 cans of pickle flavor and a can of buffalo wing flavor) Then we got Chinese food from our favorite restaurant.

And a huge Cubs/Sox argument broke out during Cross Country. One of the Sux fans said, "Oh, yeah? Well... uh... the Cubs haven't won a world series in 100 years!" And then they all started high-fiving each other like it was the most creative response ever. Morons.

I dont mind the Cubs if they are behind the Brewers. My Grandpa is a Cubs fan, so I usually root for them in the playoffs if the Brewers are out. Its fun watching and hearing my Grandpa watch and listen to games.

Anyways, I have no clue why you guys are intent on getting into fights on the most innocent topics, so I'll say this:
CALM DOWN.

One example is on the MLBPPWORLD HoF thread.

One, that was completely uncalled for. If you don't want him to get into little flame wars, then DON'T START THEM, hypocrite!
He's not that much older/younger than you either, so don't think you can just boss him around because you've been on here longer.

Two, on the SimYard thread, we don't need the results of every game you play against one of us. Seriously, if someone were to ask an honest question like HitandRun did, I wouldn't be able to find it, because the topic's been bogged down by "Im the worst sim yard plaeyr evar!!!!" or "I lost 2000-1 to PPJunior *mad face* *mad face* *mad face*"
Maybe, if you actually spent more time trying to get better or playing games than you do complaining, you'd, oh, I don't know, GET BETTER.

Three, let's look at the 2010 MLB season topic. Oh yes, let's see if we can get into a fight there.
Well, long story short, you did. redsfan decided to argue with me about the pointless topic of referring to one's favorite team as 'we' or 'us.' For god's sake, everyone does it (unless their team sucks), so get over it. Please.

Next, how about the NFL topic? Seriously, I understand you posting the whole TO + Ochocinco thing (which I also believe will blow up in their faces), but really? You get into a fricking argument over MATH? What kind of idiot would get into a MATH argument on a FOOTBALL topic? It derails the topic, clogs up the thread, and all it accomplishes is getting you more posts.

Oh yes: POST COUNT DOESN'T MEAN SHIT. Oh yes, I said a bad word. Deal with it.

Finally, how 'bout the worst one of all, on the Sign-up Problem topic.

That's right, the worst argument I'm mentioning is on a topic that's as innocent as that. That already inspires so much confidence...


Let's break this down.
One, way to go slander another member there. Stemmy ain't the most mature guy, but you sure as hell aren't. You have no right to go around posting crap like that about other people. I can only do it because my rants are apparently quite revered on here.
Two, Latin's dead.
Three, nobody gives a crap how old you are. If you're going to post it, at least do it offhandedly, when it's PART OF THE DISCUSSION.
Four, the only reason you're in high school at that age is because of the school system, from what I've seen you talk about it. For all we know, you could've graduated from middle school last in your class but still made it. And obviously, you weren't quite at the head of the class.
Five, I laughed out loud when you said "I'm pretty mature for my age." If you're mature for your age, then I officially hate all 12 year-olds now. Of course, I can refute your statement, because my little sister is 12 and much much much more mature than you.
Six, your statement has caused me to go six points in on this
Seven, let me rebuke your four points there, like LM did (Fun fact: Last time I went on a rant like this, LM actually nearly blew up at us BECAUSE we were ranting. True story.).
1. I'm 15. Big deal, I'm still young. But at least I know how to control myself and moderate my emotions. I believe a couple times on SimYard, I've been mistaken for being older because I'm not an immature little nuisance like you.
2. I'm in high school too.
3. I'm taking my fourth year of Japanese this year (in a class full of upperclassmen), and I'm taking my first year of Arabic as well. Latin is easy, while Japanese and Arabic are two of the hardest languages in the world to learn. I think I win.
4. I'm much much much much much more mature for MY age than you are for yours. See #1.

One more thing:

1. I beg to differ that this is a kid's game. I mean, if you were here in the site's heyday, you'd know that all the mods and several top guys like MrWelz were over twice your age. And really, you're only saying it's a kid's game because of the graphics, because I'm sure you wouldn't say the same about a baseball game with graphics like MLB 2K10.
2. Does that mean you'll be leaving this site by then? Thank goodness.
3. See, even you overestimated my age to be safe.
4. I started playing it when I was 13, because unlike you, I didn't join this site weeks ago. I've been here for 2+ years.
5. I don't see any reason why I'm immature because I play a "kid's game," especially when it isn't even a kid's game. If it's fun, who gives a crap whether it's MLBPP or Call of Duty? (which I don't play, by the way) And by the way, you don't know any other games I play. For the record, I play Rock Band, Pro Evo Soccer, Skate It, and Madden, all games I'm sure you wouldn't call "kid's games." In fact, I'm sure you just made up that "kid's game" point to try and justify yourself. Because obviously, if anyone else played MLBPP, that makes them immature, but you playing means you're not immature. You're either A. Stupid enough to think we'd believe you or B. Just too immature to care.
6. You don't know a thing about how we act in real life, so why the hell do you think you can judge us as if you do? For all you know, Longball714 could be a hobo who stole a laptop and I could be Tim Lincecum. Next time you post, try actually thinking first. It works wonders.

Anyways, that's my "rant," and I hope you all see my points.

Statement: I do not deny the claim that I "nearly blew up" when Sjax ranted the last time. As a matter of fact, I confirm it. I thought that stevenjackson39, among others, were ranting too much at that present time. I believe that rants are ok in moderation (Once every 2-3 months), and I offically aprove of Sjax's most recent rant, as I think it was called for.

Sjax, you are the MAN! One of the most useful post we've had in about a year on this forum was your last post. I want to say several things, but I don't want to be a jerk, so I'm not going to (in public )

Sorry for DP, but I totally agree with Sjax. Some of you new members just keep digging yourself a bigger hole on this site. It sems like all you want to do is whine and complain about everything.
@BrewersFuzz I know I went overboard with what I said, but I deal with that everyday at school. Idiot White Sox fans saying facts that aren't true. When You're 13 games out and the Reds are playing like they are, your season's over. Out of all the new members, you're the least annoying and most of your posts have a point.

A bit harsh, but I get what he's coming from. And actually, I do care that you're in H.S. at age 12, and going to graduate at age 16. That's pretty awesome. But I keep seeing you post that, and frankly, it seems that you're bragging, which, as everyone knows, is arrogance to the highest degree.

In conclusion, just, please, please, PLEASE think before you post, and maybe people will stop ragging on you guys.
