I always say the team or that guy...No fan is involved in anything the team does...Besides bringing in the bucks to pay the players inflated salaries.

In response to this whole "we" thing with sprots team and stuff, I tend to be loyal to my teams and always refer to the team as we or us. I usally don't go first name basis unless I'm with other super fans of the team. Some people thinks its cool that the fans call the team "we", others are annoyed.

And Redsfan, Corners of the outfield, corners of the infield, and pitcher thank you very much

I just had to show this. I was on the first page of this topic and came across this post and laughed, it was literaly from the very beginning when no no-no's had been thrown yet. We've had what, 5 this year? Not counting the close but not quites in Galarraga and the Blue Jays Rookie.

I'm loyal to no team, that's why I switch team logos and fav teams...I hate the Yankees though, they annoy me for no good reason.

How can you call them WE if you're not on the team? IMMATURE!

Heck, I cheer for the Rams in football and I say 'we' proudly. Same with the Giants in baseball.
I couldn't care less whether the Rams go undefeated or lose every game, they're still my favorite team.

Heh. Just saw something on MLB Network about the Oakland A's Ballboy who they say became a "Ballman", who made some decent catches in that spacious foul territory.

I need to see that ballboy later on MLB.com. I heard on baseball tonight that the anchors chose Josh Hamilton as the AL MVP...Miguel Cabrera got no picks. We'll see when they choose...

Joe Mauer breaks up the Rangers combined no-hitter in the ninth...

Can we make a list of all the no-hitters to go into the ninth and get broken up so far this year?

Armando Galarraga
Brandon Morrow
Ted Lilly
Rangers (combined)

And didn't James Shields take a no-hitter into the ninth at one point this season?

Oh, I found a page of all the near no-hitters this season.

Armando Galarraga
Ted Lilly
Travis Wood
Brandon Morrow
Rangers

If all those were completed, we would have 10 no hitters, and possibly 4 perfect games this season.

That number is just insane. 10 no-no's and 4 perfect games, was there even four in the last 15 years.

Oh, snap! Damon's back in Boston! I'd like to see how Red Sox fans react after he "betrayed" them.
