How do you get so many posts? I can get like 2 a day before I get sick of writing down the games.

June in Review

The Royals had a very good June this season. They went 17-9 in the month, and are 49-32 overall with the third best record in the majors. They are in first place in the AL Central division, two games up on the second place Indians. Now their offensive did take a dip this month, but some guys are still hot. Jose Guillen now has 19 homers on the season, one away from reaching his total from last season. Nick Johnson finally turned it on in June, now with a .258 batting average. It's still not that good, but better than before. Kelvim Escobar and Kyle Davies both have eight wins, tied for second in the majors. And Joikim Soria continues his closer dominance now with twenty-six saves in twenty-seven opportunities and a 1.49 ERA. Overall a good month for the Royals as they try to separate themselves from the pesky Indians who remain close by.

How are you winning so many games? Did you get anyone good through trades or something?

Nope, just Escobar, Greene, and Johnson from the offseason, and so far, Escobar is the only one making any sort of dramatic impact on this team of those three.
