Royals Sign Escobar, Johnson

The Royals have signed starting pitcher Kelvim Escobar to a four year, 6200 point contract. And they have signed Nick Johnson to a two year contract at 3000 points a year. Both are great acquisitions for this team who have been busy so far this offseason.

Spring Training 2010

The Royals have had a busy offseason, signing three big name players in Kelvim Escobar, Nick Johnson, and Khalil Greene. It will be interesting to see how those three players contribute in the upcoming season, and we will get our first look at them in spring training. Everyone is excited to have them on the team and can't wait for some spring baseball.

Kansas City Royals - 2010

The Royals come into the 2010 season with some new faces on the team. They have Nick Johnson who is expected to be the everyday designated hitter. They have signed Khalil Greene, who is a better offensive and defensive shortstop than Tony Pena. And finally, they have signed Kelvim Escobar, a good addition to the Royals starting rotation. Now that the Royals have made those moves, everyone is waiting to see how much they can actually help this team win.
