On a Ford truck, look at the tailgate. Why does it say F-150 Ford? Shouldn't it say Ford F-150. Since when does F-150 make a Ford? This happens on other cars as well.

Why do women color their hair to get rid of the gray hair? Why don't they color it gray to begin with. Instead of being all moopy about, "look at all this gray, what am I going to do" (if your married you will understand this). Color it gray to begin with and you would here, "HOT DOG, look at all this brown! That's what I'm talking about!" See, doesn't it make more sense to color their hair gray that way they will be happy about all the brown that is coming in and not be a major crab about getting gray hair.

Why does the Groom normally wear black at his wedding? Is it because for him it's a furnal? (yes i'm married and I did wear black!)

If you are a RIGHT handed batter why are you facing LEFT field? Shouldn't you be in the left handed batter box so you will be facing right field. Why is it backwards?


Why do people go by their middle names? Example: my sister-in-law named her son William Clinton but they call him Clinton. If they are going to call him Clinton why isn't that his FIRST name?

Since you asked My oldest son and I share the same first name, William. My dad's name was William, as was his dad's (get the theme?). We all have different middle names. Because there are so many nickname variations of William in the extended family, my wife and I decided before he was even born that we were going to call him by his middle name Duncan (wife's maiden name) rather than a variation of his first name. So why not just make his first name Duncan? Well, see above -lol- So we balanced family tradition and individualism at the same time.

But really are people any different now? Maybe I only work for pay 5 days a week (most weeks), but my Saturdays are often just as busy with non-paying work (house chores/projects, errands, etc.) as my "work days" are. As a Christian, I feel like the modern church has really failed to understand both this aspect of people's lives (Saturdays being so busy) and what a "day of rest" means. The last church I was a member of had so much stuff scheduled on Sundays that you could literally be at church from 9am-8pm with about a 2 hour afternoon break. That's ridiculous. And when you're that busy it is all too easy for the church to forget what a "Sabbath" is actually for. But I digress....

Don't you feel sorry for some celebertiy kids. Sure they get spoiled rotten and they can have whatever they want but you just know you are going to grow up with a funky first name! Jessica Alba just named her daughter Honor? Wha....Good god some of the names these celeberitys have been plaguing their kids with, wanting something differant I can understand but can't they make it ressonalbe.
