CUBS CLINCH NL CENTRAL!
With the Milwaukee Brewers losing last night, the Chicago Cubs have clinched the National League Central Division for the second year in a row. Last year, they were swept in the first round of the playoffs. This year, with the best record in the National League, the Cubs hope to go all the way and end 99 years of suffering for their fans.

I'm kind of late to really paying attention to this log, but can you tell me what players don't have agents? I think I want to join the Magical Pancake fun.

Cubs Bench finishes off Regular Season
With this being the last day of 40-man rosters, the Cubs gave their stars a break and put together the following lineup:
RF Murton
SS Cedeno
2B Fontenot
C Pena
CF Patterson
LF Pie
1B Weeks
3B Whiteman
Unfortunately, the poor guys had to go up against the Reds' trade-deadline acquisition Tim Lincecum. Lincecum kept a death grip on the young Cubs lineup, but amazingly, Scott Baker overcame previous struggles and matched him with a shutout through 6. The bullpen continued it as did Lincecum and the game went into extra innings. Not wanting to tire out their bullpen before the playoffs, the Cubs brought in their starting lineup as pinch hitters in the 9th and 10th innings, but it was Eric Patterson who singled in the go-ahead run off a tired Lincecum. Soriano and Soto added a few insurance runs, and Kevin Hart finished things off. Is finishing the regular season with a 3-game win streak a sign that the Cubs will do well in the postseason? We all hope so.

Yeah, about that... Since none of the agents have been active at all and some aren't really active on this forum anymore *coughgocubscough* I was thinking of just scrapping the agents list and starting over. Vote on the poll and I'll either keep them or scrap them.

Keep them, there is nothing bad about keeping agents even if nobody uses them, its not like it costs money to keep them. If an agent decides to be active again they should have that option.

Nah, start over, give everybody a clean slate, oh, and Magical Pancakes.

OK, I think I might have a compromise on the agents issue. If you want to keep your clients, just say so. If someone doesn't respond by the end of today, They lose their clients. Sounds good?

I think I'm going to get rid of my client, DeRosa, because I forgot about him

I also forgot about my clients, Theriot and Lilly. Luckily, the haven't needed my negotiating services yet. I'll go ahead and keep them.

Bobby and Jacobye are removed from the agents list. Jr and CCF have confirmed they will keep their clients. Still waiting on Longball, gocubs, and dishnet.
