And another thing: Morneau is about 1/6 of our team salary on his own. He's about $11 million (11000 PP), while Fielder and Braun combined are only about ONE million (1000 PP). Something to think about!

One thing, Kubel's agent (Bobby Baseball), can get his choice of Braun or Fielder as his client if you go through with the trade. I'll take the other one. Morneau wants to live here in the offseason, so if anyone asks, he was totally against this. He does tell me Budwiser and Miller Lite have made offers to be a spokesperson for them, but only if goes to the Brewers. He also says "BEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

EDIT: Just got off the phone with a confrence call with Miller and Justin. Justin won't do the deal unless Kubel does it with him, so Miller caved and offered the deal with Morneau AND Kubel bother getting an exra Million a year. Got Budwiser at 4 PM EST, so we'll see what they offer.

Now, the million dollar question is if Kubel wants to jump to Milwaukee.

Trade Rumors

MILWAUKEE—The Brewers are reportedly getting closer to a deal with the Twins to swap first basemen and AL designated hitters. After a sponsorship deal was put on the table, the Brewers are now prepared to give the Twins a starting pitcher, possibly Ben Sheets. Many experts say that Fielder and Braun are better than Kubel and Morneau, but rumors continue to swirl that the two stars feel that they are carrying the best team in the National League to the top. They feel that they are the only reason that the Brewers are as good as they are. Representatives from Minnesota and Milwaukee have declined comment as of press time.

Jason Kubel is disappointed to leave the Twins but he is glad to go to the Tigers especially with his good friend, Justin Morneau. He understands that this is a business and as long as he goes to a contending team, he is happy.

I will take Ryan Braun to be my new agent.

OK, so here's the plan:

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gets:

Jason Kubel (RF/LF)
Justin Morneau (1B)

The Dynasty From The North gets:

Ryan Braun (LF/DH)
Prince Fielder (1B)
Ben Sheets (SP)

Any problems before I make the swap? I'm turning on the Wii in a hour.

As far as the salary goes, even though we get Sheets, we still save some cash. We are in the black for the year (I started with 150 mil, JSYK) so if we make the playoffs, we'll be in cash-city regardless.

Morneau says Miller has upped the price and is offing 2.5 million each to him and Kubel. He says he signs. He will miss everyone here but is happy that he is helping his old club out, and is ready to take the Brew Crew to the World Series to meet up with the Twins  .

Hideo Nomo feels left out now, and doesn't like the bullpen. He wants a deal with a Japnese Video Game company Konami. "Who are they?" I asked. He said they created a bunch of cool things. Dance Dance Revolution blah blah blah. Power Pros blah blah blah. All that goes right over a player representive's head. He plans to leave after he gets his ring next year and move on to the NPB.

I'll take Fielder then. Great Trade by the way. I like how you listen to my suggestions too!

Trade Accepted, Roster Moves Announced

MINNESOTA—In an effort to capitalize on opportunity and come back from a 4 1/2 game deficet in the AL Central, Kubel and Morneau have been traded to Milwaukee for Sheets, Fielder, and Braun. To make room, Hideo Nomo and Jonathan Cannizaro have been sent to AAA. Denard Span has been called up to MLB.

I seriously don't like this. Fielder is happy about batting cleanup, but he thinks Cuddyer and Young should be swaped. He also hates his new number and wishes for it to be changed back to his one in Millwauke (#28) and is furious that of all people JESSE CRAIN is the one blocking him from HIS number.

Hideo Nomo is furious with this club and wishes to be traded. He doesn't mind if you scam him to some team, as long as he's out of Rochester. Or you can simply add him back onto the Majors roster and all is forgiven

Speaking solely to the GM, Braun absolutly CAN NOT field. I've played maybe 10 games in my Dream Draft season and he's made about 6 errors. Keep Young in the NL lineup, you don't use it that ofte anyway. Plus, Braun is an AMAZING pinch hitter (Esipically against Leftys  ).
