Liriano wants to know the reason for his sudden dry streak. Cuddyer is proud to be named player of the week, though.

Cuddyer definitely earned Player of the Week. I think Liriano got it a couple of weeks ago, too.

Liriano has faced a couple of tough offensive teams. I think he'll get back on track soon.

I think you might want to consider getting a starting pitcher to strengthen your rotation:

Try trading for the Pirates' Zack Duke or Paul Maholm, see what kind of deal you can put together.
You could also try Anibal Sanchez (Marlins).

It seems like the rest of your team is doing great!

I'll be around suggesting trades, that's what I do =)

You can suggest whatever you want :)

I'll see if I can put a deal together. Not now, because relatives are over at my house, but a little later.

Here, let me give you a tip for trading... I use it all of the time in my season modes, but it might not fit your style:

First, organize a trade with exactly 2 stars. If you are satisfied with a trade that has more than two stars, make the other team include some money until it gets down to 2.

Now, SAVE, fast-forward a couple days, and hope that the trade is accepted. If not, simple exit (DON'T SAVE) and try it again.

With this strategy, you can progressively trade for better and better players and still be successful.

I don't think I'd do something like that in a season log, but maybe in one of my own seasons.

I simmed a week and a half trying to get a SP deal, but it was an offer from the Nats that I couldn't refuse...

Twins Deal For Starter

MINNESOTA-The Washington Nationals, looking to capitalize on any financial opportunity, have traded struggling starter Michael O'Connor to the Twins for 2B Alexi Castilla.  O'Connor currently has a 15.4 season ERA.

He traded O'Connor AWAY and received Casilla. You could be Casilla'a agent.

Nope. I traded Castilla away and got O'Connor. I put you on the list, Rob.

Funniest thing—I actually was doing a season with the Nats before I started this season.

The game against the Royals that was here—technically, it never happened. See why in two posts.
