What do I do? I just got offered a permit. I think. Take a look at this conversation.

dcoope: bobby do you know Carey?
me: a little
dcoope: he told me to buy you a permit
me: why would he do that?
dcoope: I guess he thought you would like one
me: well he is a smart guy

And that was it. He didn't reply. I really want that permit. I don't want to go begging him for a permit but if he comes in and tells me he was going to buy me one and then he leaves without saying anything that really ticks me off. He could have just said he is not getting it for me. Should I PM dcoope? Should I PM Carey? I need help guys.

ask him whether he was truthful, quote the conversation.

for carey:
ask him about whther he told coope to get you a permit.
