My Demon Decaons were this close to winning against GT, a top ten team. But the 09' Deacons "The Close but not Quites" lost again. 5 of our 6 losses (exclding the loss @ Clemson, I was there. It wasn't pretty), have been lost by a total of 13 points.

In other news, my future High School went undefeated and is the #1 seed in the state playoffs!

Yesterday was my second to last baseball game of the fall. I walked again (I have walked more than I have made out this fall, it is crazy! I am so short and I have a tiny strike zone) and then I ripped a line drive RBI single to left. I also made the last out of the game but it was hilarious. There was this big tall skinny kid pitching and he threw pretty hard but had good control. I worked the count to 2-0 and then he threw a fastball right at me. I knew for sure I was going to get hit. But I jumped way back and it missed me by an inch. However the ball hit my bat (which was behind my back, nowhere even near the plate) and I thought, "Oh man, a strike." Then I heard my coach screaming for me to run. When I realized what had happened I was thrown out. When we were shaking hands the pitcher told me "Nice bunt" and I said "Good pitch." :P

I've had that happen to my freind once. It was in Little League Minors. He ducted a pitch it hit his bat and rolled into fair teritory. He was safe because NOBODY except for the coaches knew what to do. The guy who's bat hit the ball dad played in the minor leagues up to AAA. He coaches High School baseball now :mrgreen: .
