I can go many ways on this whole thing but I'll just stay on peoples good side for now and say nothing

It's kind of wierd, this world series went by so fast but I didn't see much hype as I normally would. There weren't any moments that really stuck out as special. There were some blowouts, no 1-run games and it seemed like the Yankees had control in every game completely except game 1

The MVP is Rivera because he's Rivera and is the only reliable bullpen arm for the Yankees

but most importantly, the Red Sox and Yankees will open up their season on ESPN at Fenway park since the world champion gets the Sunday night game on ESPN and the Yankees happen to be playing the red sox

can't wait for free agents. My bets are that the Yankees sign Bay and Lackey for a combined 280,000,050

Matsui deserves the MVP more than Rivera, since Rivera already won it before and he played really really well too.

But it's odd that the world series is over. It's like surreal, it ended so fast and I can't even remember the memories of this season yet

It's an odd feeling right now but I've gotten over the fact that the Yankees won, I haven't heard any highlights or the celebration yet because I just got home but I won't be watching the parade and that stuff

I've always been confused, is the decade 2001-2009? or 2000-2009?

Because if the decade is from 2001-2009 then the Red Sox would be the team of the decade because the Yankees only won in 2009 and if they won in 2000 then they'd probably be the team of the decade so far

but not that it matters too much

It's 2000-2009, unfortunately. The next decade will be 2010-2019, and the decade before was 1990-1999.
