Oh man, I was up all night around 1:10am, watching the Yankees game. In 13 innings we won

I was at that game  ! Even better, I was at the Twins game where A-Rod hit the game tying two-run homer in the 9th. I was right where Texiera hit the homerun, in the second row, where it bounced off the concrete .That ball was the fastest ball hit out of the park ever recorded and was out in 2.3 seconds. I was really scared by first instict haha. What a great game. I got really luck  .

Come on Dodgers! How the hell could you walk the 7th and 8th hitters like that? Gah! Stairs? I think whoever won that game would have wo nthe series, and now I'm very scared. Even if the Dodgers win the next two, can they really beat Lee? It all depends how early the bullpen comes in. If they get them in by the 7th, they can probably win every game. But I don't think they will iwn the series. Gah I hate Phillies. Oh well, the Yankees will clobber there bullpen with their major league leading come backs, and the most runs by far in the 7th and 9th innings, as well as extra.

I'm tired of some of these 9th inning miracles. can anyone besides Rivera and Lidge close a postseason game?!? I hope the dodgers make a great comeback

and cownip you are one lucky man to see those 2 games, you picked the two best games to go to for the yankees postseason games at home

Yep haha, eight (home) Yankee games, 6 walk-offs, 7 wins. Opening day was awful, but the rest was great. The Yankees seem to play better on weekends (that's when I normally see them). And I also went to Fenway and saw Paplebon blow a 1 run lead by homer over the green monster to the Mets and the Mets win at Citifield also (Rooting for them then too). So Newyork basically loves me haha.

Lidge isn't anywhere near as good as Moe, not nearly as many innings, and he's barely made it through several saves. I think Moe is a heck of a lot more dependable, and I'd still rather have Bronxton over Lidge for the postseason. But I mean the Yanks killing Nathan was suprising. He just can't pitch against them, the Twins can't play the Yankees at all. Look at the Yankees record at home the past few years against them, its insane. Especially this year, with a walk-off weekend (went do damon's walk off then). Fuentes was expected sooner or later, he's a real sub-par closer with a 4 era and 6 saves blown. But killing Nathan? Never saw that coming.

I know I never said Lidge was better, I 1000 times rather have Rivera, but I was saying how Lidge is one of 2 closers this postseason not to blow a game yet

but lets see

Papelbon blew a game for the red sox(I'll get over that by opening day I hope)
Fuentes blew a game against the yankees(I know he didn't have anything to do with that walkoff error but he couldve ended it a few innings before that)
Franklin blew a game for the cardinals(matt holliday was the real issue but Franklin still could've tried to rebound, the cards had Carpenter and Wainwright in games 4 + 5 if they won game 3, ouch)
Nathan blew a game for the twins(that was game that really ended the twins season)
Street blew a game for the rockies(2 out magic burns. and if the rockies won then there would've been a game 5)
Broxton blew a game against the phillies(more 2 out magic! this really bums me out because the dodgers could be tied in the series instead of down 3-1. I don't really want the phillies to be in the world series again this year. if the phillies win the world series then I'm not going onto the MLB Message boards until the 2010 champion has been named)

So 4 ALDS series were really effected by closers/2 out magic

the nlcs was really effected last nite. instead of a tied series and the dodgers getting a chance to play a game 6(or maybe 7) at home, the phillies are 1 win away from going to the world series and they have to win tommorow just to go back to Los Angeles

Eh... Beat me to it, and I had part of a speech ready, not half as long as the post you just made, but still longer than average.

Eh

I could not have asked for a worse world series then phillies/yankees coming into this postseason

I'm probably not the only one who thinks that. Two annoying and trollish fan bases(no bad fans here though) in one world series. Who do you root for? There's never a real choice

When the Yankees win the alcs then Ill never go onto the MLB message boards until a new world series is crowned. There are so many phillies trolls and I hate then the most, yankees are top 5 in trolling too

sorry if I offended anyone but this is my take. Someones probably gonna say something stupid like: your just saying that cause you're not in the world series.
Trust me, I'm not the only one who feels the same way as me

Me three! As a Mets fan, a Yankees-Phillies World Series is my absolute worst nightmare. But I have to root for the Phillies here. Last year they won and the only one who bragged was the players on the Phillies. If the Yankees win, then all my friends and their grandmas will be constantly shoving it in my face.

I've gotta root for the Phils, my mom's friends are Phillies fans. Besides, I really just hate the Yankees and my sister REALLY hates them. She'd kill me if I rooted for them.
