How are you tired of "Yankees spending" when the last time they signed a free agent was about 10 months ago, that was a little delayed a feeling.

They buy their players, not sign them. The stupid Yankees are the reason MLB needs a true salary cap.

LETS GO ANGELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

but yeah, this series will probably go to game 7

i mean, just look at these teams

Angels:Speed and pitching

Yankees: Power and pitching

both teams have great defense, and fairly good rotations, not to mention both normal starting catchers arent exactly the best at throwing runners out, Napoli is still getting there, Posada is a little past his fielding days

and first base, i mean, both guys hit 30 bombs (or more) both had averages around .290 or better, both had 100+ RBI's, and both of them can pick the ball and do some pretty slick fielding, and their both switch hitters, i mean, these 2 guys are probably the 2 closest plaayers to each other in terms of stats and ability, i mean, kendrey is in his first full year, tex in his 6th? i'm not sure, they both have good (great for the yanks) closers, fuentes let the majors this year, mo is a great post season closer, both teams have great fielding shortstops (provided, jeter is much better of a hitter than erick, but erick is still young, he might pick it up) of course the biggest difference is 3rd, a-rod is a power hitter (who finally found his post season stroke) and figgy is a speedy guy,(probably the fastest of all players on both teams) a-rod, natuarally has more homers than figgy, but figgy has a better average this season, just barely, but not so good in the post season, both are fairly great defenders

so, the more you compare these 2 teams, the more and more they seem vvery close in terms of talent, i think this will be the best ALCS of all time, lol, not really, but it'll be right up there

and as for the NLCS, sorry to dodgers fans (if there are any here, i havent seen any yet) but last year, the angels OWNED the Red Sox 9 to 1 in the regular season, and then lost the ALDS to them, but we won a game! lol, oh well, we swept um this year, so i'm happy, but yeah, just because the dodgers won the season series 4 to 3 (or whatever it was) doesnt mean that you guys are gonna walk away with it, as much as i would like seeing an Angels Dodgers Freeway World Series, it definitley wont be easy getting the freeway series, i really hope for it though, and then the angels win on a walk-off game 7 homerun by vladdy (or anyone for that matter) so that i can finaly have all those damn dodgers fans shut up for once, they always say, "the angels suck, they only have one world series, dodgers have 5, what now?" which pisses me off becuase in the first however many years the dodgers played in brooklyn, they only won one world series, and then won 5 in L.A. , and i believe it was 50 some years they played in Brooklyn, right? so we still have the next 50 years to win 5 more world series  (also, the angels have owned the freeway series since it started, 65 to 45 or something like that, i rounded it up, i forget if the dodgers had 50 or 40 some wins against the angels, but regardless, the angels own the freeway series

oh well, i really wanna see the angels win against the yanks, i dont care if its the phills or the dodgers that they face, i just want them to win, especially for Nick

one more thing, i look at the dodgers rotation compared to the phillies, i mean, its no contest, you have 2 cy young award winners in the phills rotation, (maybe more, i'm not sure, i just know that cliff lee and pedro have won some) and the dodgers, have zip, zilch, nada, but they have a better bullpen, i dont know, the NLCS could be more interesting than i think

The Phils have a Cy Young capability in Lee and an outstanding pitcher in Hamels. They have Happ, a rookie, and Blanton, an inconsistent but ok pitcher. Pedro is old and you don't know anything for sure, he won those Cy Youngs in the 90s.

The Dodgers have no Cy Young pitchers but they have a great 1-2 in Kershaw and Wolf. They have many options in Padilla who has been good lately and Garland who is a workhorse. Plus they have a better bullpen.

having Adam Wainwright, Chris Carpenter, and Joel Pinero didn't help the Cardinals any. The difference, though, is that the Phillies will have a lot more offense than the Dodgers, and they have much better defense.

I don't know, the bullpen seems to be the theme in this postseason.

Hey man, I feel you. Don't worry, just root for the team you do NOT want to win, and maybe they won't win.

This happens to everyone at some point or another. The baseball gods just want us to know what being a Cubs fan is like.
