Here's the thing: You play the games. Even if it's just letting your team go to a field and do something else on the computer while your team plays that game.

Also, if you do join, can I be your first game?

I just made my team and I'm wondering what the ranges were for the stats

1-99.
for you right now, anything double digits is good.

for fielders, BSP (bat speed) is the most important stat, and finesse for pitchers is the most important.
also, to get new players, go to interact in park, then keep talking to people.
if it takes longer to load for somebody and they're a teenage boy, young man, middle-aged man, or mature man, they could be a player. it could also be lag (there's a lot of lag on the site sometimes).
if you think you see a player, (actually, no matter what), click "have you ever been to a baseball game?"
if they're a fan, they'll say their fave team (if you then say you're the owner of whatever team you are, and ask if they'd like to see a game, they could give you buzz, which gives you more fans. it lasts for an hour and especially works if you get a win.).
if they're a player, they'll say something like "usually in the dugout. I'm a player"
then just ask 'em whatever you need to know, and then ask them to join the team.
you can release them at any time if they suck.
also, if they say they can hit off a tee and usually when they say they have a really big bat, it means their hitting sucks. a lot.
