When is MLB Power Pros 2009 coming out?

In your figure A the sales history said that the US sold over 15 times the copies that Japan sold so isn't that a huge money maker if its so popular in Japan.

Look at the charts on the right side. For the Wii, 100,000 copies were sold. That's not really a lot. Our main hope was that they would make it in the Opening Day lineup. Here's why not:

Both of the most popular games outsold Power Pros easily. I know I've been positive previously, but I just don't think it's happening now. It had so much potential, but the numbers are against it. :cry:

Apple, I get what you're saying, but that was the ps3 version of the bigs. If you look at the reviews from ign, power pros is their best wii baseball game. In fact, it's their best baseball game period. They just don't realize this simple equation: PP09's epicness + a fraction of the Bigs's advertising budget = $$$$$$$

MLB Superstars (to which baseball blast is the sequel) (Wii): 2.9
MLB Stickball (Xbox): 3
The Bigs 2 (Wii): 6.3
MLB Front Office Manager (All but Wii): 6.6
MLB 2K9 (Xbox): 6.8
The Bigs 2 (Xbox/PS3): 8
MLBPP: 8.4
MLBPP08: 8.4

They barely have any Wii baseball games anyway, and Power Pros is easily the best. And Power Pros Touch may have gotten a bad score, but look at the first paragraph of the review: http://wireless.ign.com/articles/100/1006343p1.html
And did I mention that they made a FIFTH thread for baseball blast and locked all five of them so we couldn't complain?

The Wii isn't that important to 2K; it's not the system of choice to "hardcore gamers". They make games for "hardcore gamers". Power Pros is just a cash cow to them; it didn't sell too well, so they're dropping it. I hope that what you guys are saying is true, but until a shred of proof is shown either way for a sequel, I'll say that the series has been cut.

If you noticed on their website, they have videos at the hompage. They always keep at least one video for their series. They have MLB2k9 videos, they have Top Spin videos, they have Don King Boxing videos. There was a MLBPP2008 video. It's not there.

I'd settle for a good roster update. though, I would have liked the WBC, new Yankee Stadium, and a remotely accurate Reds roster, MLBPP08 is like Ken Griffey Jr. Presents... for SNES or N64
or even like (Super) Tecmo Bowl... you just don't ask for a sequel

Depending on your college, you might be able to keep a vid. game system in yoru dorm if you keep your grades at a certian (very high) level. My cousin was able to do it.

Haha, it's not about not being allowed too. I definetly could. But I would never want to. I'd be way too embaressed to bring video games with me, especially one that has cartoon players like Power Pros. I may know its like any other baseball game, but others wouldn't. Plus I'd much rather be social then play video games.

I'll be long gone, as will most others besids some of the young users here, I assume. FOr you guys, its more about the discussion then Power Pros and Baseball, so I think that community will stay in some form. But free for all will make up 90% of the votes.

I base that more off bad experiences with other games. But I want an NFL game, so I don't know. EA Sports has no Wii Basketball. I'm torn. It's not a morale, anti-power pros thing, it's a not wanting to get screwed like i did from mlb 2k.
