Hey guys, I haven't been on in awhile (sorry about the role playing thing) because 2009 wasn't gonna come out, so I then stopped playing power pros. Just today during school I thought about power pros so I got home and did my homework and popped in MLB PP 2008 and deiced to try and make some more success characters and on the first guy I started I got a really crappy guy but he had gd sense, but I really don't care about GD sense because I can get that easily in 08 so I re rolled and got this:
TRJ:2, CON:6, PWR:75 Run speed: 6 Arm strength 6 FLD 6 and E RES 4 with gd sense
So is this a genius.
And which direction should I go with him(He is a first basemen

What do you mean which direction should you go with him?
He's a hitter, so max out all hitting and fielding stats, and get all buyable and SoHable abilities.

I was thinking maybe some pitching but I am a little rusty so I think I'll go for maxed hitting

cooldude is right though.
use SoH's and SoD's for nonbuyable abilities.

It works if you have a pitcher genius and want to make him hit, but it doesn't really work the other way around. Most batters start with a 49 MPH top speed and as sjax said, he wouldn't have any breaking balls, because as a hitter you can't get BB points unless you're on PS2 with GameShark.

Oh yeah, I have been away from power pros longer than I thought :lol:

I still can't get Jaw in April or March. And if anyone knows the dates where Dr. Good job appears most frequently could you please post them.

Dr. Goodjob is a random event, like the Focus Stone event. So, when you have the least arcs happening at the time (so the event right before the game would be good) would be the best time to get Goodjob.
