McCutchen (being the future GM that he is) wants to trade for a new third baseman. He gives some suggestions:

Joe Crede (White Sox/Twins depending on your roster)
Nick Punto (Twins)
Alex Gordon (Royals)
Hank Blalock (Rangers)
Pedro Feliz (Phillies)
Jorge Cantu (Marlins)
Jose Castillo (Giants?)

Please?

I have a perfect player that's a 3B who's good but doesn't fit on the team

he's a veteran and I'm only gonna get him if I'm in contention

And I'm on a great run! 8 game winning streak!!

Let me guess... Mike Lowell?

Anyway, the players I suggested are all realistic players, E's, F's, D's in contact and power.

Joe Crede (White Sox/Twins depending on your roster) He's E,E,E,C,B,C or something like that
Nick Punto (Twins) E,F,B,B,C,D or something similar, good defense
Alex Gordon (Royals) E,C is all i know but he's really young and a good prospect
Hank Blalock (Rangers) D,C, pretty much all D's and C's
Pedro Feliz (Phillies) E, B, E, B, C, C or something, he's pretty good
Jorge Cantu (Marlins) D, E, mostly D's and E's
Jose Castillo (Giants?) I'm not sure but I think he's E, E, and the rest are C's

If you are looking for even better less realistic (and more expensive) players, look at these:

Chone Figgins (by far my favorite suggestion, Angels) B,C,B,F,C,D He's really, really fast (and cheaper than Lowell, too)
Lowell (a bit expensive imo)
Kevin Kouzmanoff D con B pow (Padres)
Evan Longoria (did you edit him?)
Edwin Encarnacion (Reds/Blue Jays)
Eric Chavez (A's)
Scott Rolen (Blue Jays/Reds)
Brandon Inge (Tigers) good utility man
Casey Blake (Indians/Dodgers)
Adrian Beltre (Mariners) too expensive imo
Ryan Zimmerman (Nationals) tough to get, but acquire Blake first then you can trade him for Zimmerman
Bill Hall (Brewers)
Ty Wigginton (Astros/Orioles)
Garret Atkins (Rockies)
Mark Reynolds (Diamondbacks)

My favorite is Figgins, but I think Alex Gordon is a good pick because he's a decent hitter and I think younger than LaRoche. Gordon is a great prospect. Blalock is also good. The others are generally a little bit old and a little bit expensive.

And if you can acquire Wigginton, you'll probably be able to trade him for Blake/Zimmerman.

This game is showing signs that this season has a chance to be special. After being down 4-1 trhough 5 innings, the Pirates bats scored a total of 9 runs in innings 6 and 7 to take away a win from the Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw. The begin this wild game, Cedeno drove in the 1st run in the game in the 1st but the Dodgers would rally off of Karstens in the 2nd with an RBI triple for James Loney and a homerun for Ramirez. There were 8 homeruns in the game, 4 by each time and that really changed this game. The Pirates rallied for 4 runs thanks to a 2-Run homerun by Jones, Pearce made it back-to-back with a game tying shot and then Delywn Young would give them the lead with his 1st homerun. But that would'nt last long as Matt Kemp would deliver a 2-run go ahead shot in the 6th as well. But it was all Pirates after that capped by another homerun, this one by Young again who had a career night tonite. Kemp and Martin went back to back in the 8th but Hanrahan and his now 0.49 ERA would shut them down in the 9th.

The Pirates continue to win games and actually have the 4th best record in the NL, but too bad that 2 of the 3 teams ahead of them are from the NL Central, but this win wasn't a shocker considering the National's struggles this year. The Pirates held a comfy 3-0 lead but that slipped away in the 7th when the Nationals scored 3 runs to tie it. But the Pirates took the lead in the 9th thanks to an RBI triple by former National Milledge and an RBI double by Ramon Vazquez. But with the 2 outs in the 9th, Dmitri Young hit a solo homerun off the pole against another former National, Joel Hanrahan, to make it a 1 run game but Hanrahan would get the final out and get the save. This was only the 2nd run given up by Hanrahan this year.

Doumit is impressed by the team's success and is leaning farther and farther away from demanding a trade.

Duke and Ruggiano are impressed by how the team is doing. Ruggiano wants to be in the mix of all this success, so he wants you to call him up, and send a very poor player down.
