I know why Reid pushed for signing him!
For those of you who aren't birds fans like myslef, you probably don't know that two of his children are currently in prison. Reid and McNabb have both claimed that he "deserves a second chance" and "is truly sorry". Anybody see the connection? (i know this is likely crap, but you never know!)
I think he's a good addition, but i'm not really sure where they plan to use him.

McNabb is the starting QB but according to him, he might sometimes play TE, FB, HB, or WR. Vick WILL play this year if he is re-instated. Those two will be great in the wildcat!


Steven, McNabb wanted to sign Vick, he pushed to sign Vick.

Yes he is. But only conditionally. He hasn't been fully re-instated yet. I think Roger Goodell was going to make that decision by Week 6 of the NFL season.

Yes it was McNabb's idea, but Reid jumped on it immediatlety and backed it up.

I like animals, and now I hate the Eagles. Or at least, everyone who helped this man get a job.
Many people think he deserves a second chancem but he already has had one. And a third.

He:
Got arrested for animal cruelty, which included electrocuting and drowning dogs.
Flipped the bird to his own team's fans after a game.
Tested positive for marijuana, and was found with an Aquafina bottle on an airplane with "a hidden compartment for drugs".

Anyone notice a pattern? He's not a good person. This signing makes no sense. The Eagles lose money in paying him and lose fans, which is even more money. :?:

How do you know that they're gonna lose fans? For all we know, the Eagles could break an attendance record.

Off-topic!!: In my Falcons franchise in my NFL Head Coach game, I once had 8 interceptions against Delhomme. Vick was my WR.

Agreed. Vick will sell tickets. At least for this season. People like drama and controversy, and Vick is the definition of that! He'll definitley sell tickets, if nothing else.
