Also important reminder to people who have players as agents. Contract Renewales are next and you have to decide a salary based on their performance have them in by 3:15 or I'll just make something up I guess. PM me them or just say it here:

For whatever reason he accept it for 85 points more :lol:

No free agents this year like I said(Roster updates can't get too messed up already)

But there will be next year

and our players salary went up 10000 points

Pirates Spring Training Report

The Pirates have come into Spring Training with the same faces as 2008, but some have grown and should be better than next season. The Pirates would open for trades for young right fielders but no teams seem to want to part with any players to give to the Pirates, they will look for a right fielder during April but Delwyn Young will likely start in right field for opening day.

But the Pirates have also tried to convert players as well. Jeff Clement has also learned to play 1st base while Justin Ruggiano is slowly learning the outfield positions other than left field.

Here is the projected Pirates lineup

CF- McCutchen
SS- Cedeno
1B- Jones
C - Doumit
2B- Fontenot
LF- Milledge
3B- LaRoche
RF- Young

The bullpen is expected to stay the same except Carmen Pignattielo has a good chance of being the opening day lefty specialist over Phil Dumatrait.

Also:

Ruggiano is in the mix for an outfield backup spot
Salazar might not actually be with the team
Clement might actually start at 1st base and Jones in right field if they cant get a new right fielder
Ohlendorf will begin the season in the bullpen
The rotation will likely stay the same

Any comments on what I should do? it seems like all my deals are 1 star deals

If Cody Ross doesn't work, try Travis Buck (A's). You can get him for almost nothing.
