Maybe some of you know this already but it shocked the heck out of me.

Do you know who the best PITCHER is in success mode?

MARS!!! That's right. Third baseman Mars from the Commanders.

His stats are ridiculous. He has like two level 4 pitches, a level 5 pitch and not one single stat lower than a B. (hitting or pitching) Plus, quite a few abilities. The weird thing is, he doesn't even have any red on his nameplate, signifying that he can pitch. His stats are All Star quality, even in the Pros.

I definitely want to make this guy in 08'. Too bad I can't see his pitching form because he never pitches.

Does he???

Hit a ball back at the starting pitcher to try to injure him and see if Mars takes his place

Really? Good find. I need to check this out. There must be some sort of secret to get this out of him because it doesn't make sense to have him so good and never be see it.

The only way I can think of is to string together a LOT of hits until they use every pitcher they have until finally, they might put Mars in. This seems extremely difficult though.

One time I got a team to go through about 8-9 pitchers, but you kind of have to be lucky.

Even if he was the last option, I don't know if they would put him in. Like I said before, he doesn't have the red color on his name plate, so I don't know if the AI would recognize to put him in the game as a pitcher.

Sounds like the kind of thing a code would unlock. This game seems very light on codes for game that's been out this long. I haven't seen an update on the code thread for a while.

I don't remember mars being that good, last time I checked he was E contact D power and 4 trj (though that could have been yokozuna/patrick)
If his power is that godly, and his contact so high, why does he always ground/strike out?

I could have sworn when I go to look at players that I have already written down, they are always the same stats. I checked Patrick's stats and they were always the same, even in year 3. They better not be random! I already wrote down a bunch of em'!

But the other teams, in the tournament, their stats usually improve about a point in every category from year 2 to year 3. When I rechecked Perfect S's stats in year 3, I found he learned Dr. K ability (He didn't have Dr. K in year 2) along with the 1 point stat increases.

I hardly ever get to play the Commanders in the third year, or even the second for that matter. But I'll see if I can play them again in year 3.

Dang, it looks like some sort of fluke.

I still have it saved on the same game against the commanders and his stats are like all D's now. I don't understand. I guess when I turned the Wii off it reset. Yesterday I quit and restarted that game several times and every time he had the good stats. Today I restarted the game three or four times and his stats are always the same but weak.
All the other players still have the same stats.

Very weird.

It wasn't changed due to maybe challenging, or saying yes, when the scout talks to you before the game was it?

Ok. I'm an idiot. That has to be what happened. One time, instead of training like I had been doing pretty much every time, I worked or something and aquired a Marvin card. I had already used a Marvin card on Willy in a previous game so when I used it, he had to possess someone else.

I didn't know that Willy would possess the other teams players. He acted like he wanted me to succeed, and then he turns around and does this to me!

Sry for the false alarm. I never use Willy so I had never seen his stats before.
