Ross Ohlendorf was able to bring out the K as the Pirates won their second game 3-0. Ohlendorf was the starter today and only went 5 innings but thats because of 9 K's but no runs. There wasn't much offense is South Florida but the biggest blow of the game came off the bat of LaRoche in the 8th to make a 1-0 game into a 3-0 game. Capps got his first save as well

Chicago Cubs(5-1) @ Pittsburgh Pirates(2-4)

Opening day in PNC Park was all it was thought to be, beautiful. And today the bucs won 5-4 in 10 innings to best the first place Cubs. The game didn't look good as Soriano led the game off with a homerun and in the 6th down 3-1, Andy LaRoche continued his hot hitting with a homerun off the pole in left. The game stayed 3-2 til the 9th when Garrett Jones came off the bench with a 2 out honerun off Heilman. But back came the Cubs with a 10th inning blast for Soto off of Bautista but the bucs still has more. Clement led off the 10th with a single and Milledge tripled to left to tie it. Andy LaRoche finished it off with a sac fly where Milledge just got safe and what a win for the Pirates who go to 3-4

LP: Heilman(0-2)
