Does Pittsburgh have anymore OF to trade? No? Oh darn, that would have been easy to predict.

Oh, wait, they are trading Nyjer Morgan to the Nats.

Reds won't make any moves to get anybody, mainly cause they aren't any good but because we don't want to send away young talent for junk.

Cubs won't make a move, they have the pieces but it just isn't clicking yet.

I predict the Brewers make a move for a starting pitcher. Not Jake Peavy, because he isn't going anywhere. But probably like Eric Bedard or a pitcher similar to him.

Phillies, contrary to popular belief, have their division locked up. Mets can't do junk, Florida is going to hit a slump eventually (but it sure would be nice if Han-Ram continued to produce) and ATL just isn't consistant.

Remember, Texas met with Ben Sheets? Yeah, that Ben Sheets, the one that started the All-Star Game last year. But they don't want to add a elite starter to their rotation. Ugh....

Pitchers I see possible to move:

Ben Sheets - He has to go somewhere
Mark Lowe - Good vet for playoff bound teams
Matt Capps - The pirates are giving away players anyway, why not?!?
Eric Bedard - No more Bavasi, so questionable, but still possible.
Javier Vazquez - Could be a great Number for most teams
Huston Street - I wouldn't put it past Beane

Batters that could move easily

Mark Reynolds - Good power, especially for Chase Field. Would do well elsewhere, He is having a career year.
Pat Burrell - Yeah, He hasn't exactly been stellar for the Rays
Milton Bradley - See what the Cubs can scrape for him
Victor Martinez - What?!?! Really?!?!?! Yeah, Indians obviously don't like their team.
[Any Pirates OF] - Yeah....
Russell Branyan - He is careering it right now too.
Garret Atkins - once Colorado slows down, it will happen.

This is just a random list I came up with.

They are a slump-prone team, but they have been one of the hotter teams lately (along with Detroit)

Russell Branyan isn't moving anywhere. The Mariners need him.

To cheif about ben sheets:

Sheets is probably not gonna play for awhile because he is badly injured and the injury is career threatening and he won't be how he used to probably so Sheets is probably gonna turn into the next Eric Chavez if he plays

Peavy will not go. He is injured and is going to be out for a long time (September?). Rios and Wells arnt going anywhere too. 60 million/5 years and 100 million/5 years left on their contracts respectively. I see Holliday going to the Cards. Cliff Lee might be traded to a team in contention that needs starting pitching like the Phillies, but the Indians will set the price pretty high. Street is not going anywhere. He is key in a team that is really really hot now and is a future all-star to be (He has the stuff). Victor Martinez will not be traded. Though the Indians are struggling, Martinez has been like the face of the team for quite some time and what would the fans think of it. Sheets might be going to a team willing to take a risk (BoSox).

The BoSox won't take Sheets. They already have to much depth with starting pitching.

I suppose you're right. But you can't be perfect every night.

Usually they are good.

Hey, we were the "dark horsein the running for Sabathia last year...

I would have loved to see Sabathia play with the Giants. That rotation would have been beast and Sabathia is a pretty good hitter.

Doc could carry a team into October. But after pitching 220+ innings, he would be pretty tired and fail in October like Sabathia.

20 million left on a 37 year old outfielder? Are you serious some team would want him other than the Yankees?
