ok ill put a few
1. christians say this country was founded on christian princples, this is incorrect because the founding fathers opposed any religion the center point of this country, its article 2 of the constition(which i cant spell) saying america is not founded on christian beliefs.
2. christians say the founding were christians, this is incorrect because just about all of them were deist or atheist, to name a few thomas paine, benjamin franklin, and george washington.
3. "in god we trust" was added on coins in 1864
4. "in god we trust was added on dollars in 1954
5. the pledge of allejents(i got to work on this) did not have "under god" when made by the founding fathers, it was added around the same time the dollar got "in god we trust"

Nobody believes that. We were founded not on christian principles, but on the principle of equalitly. All men are created equal. Religion has nothing to do with it, really. And who cares when "in god we trust" and "under god" were added to money and the pledge of allegiance, respectfully. We can't believe everything our history teachers tell us now, can we?

you would be suprised how many people believe this. i know it was the principle of equalitly but you can see it even today that there changing that for them, christians saying number 2 and saying this is "christian nation" lead people to do number 3, 4, and 5. its not caring if its there its the fact they added for there religion. and im not sure i understand your last question believeing in stuff they say with no proof? and this is not in history books this is what they changed to make it look like it was history
