* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.

Have fun!

Nice player. I remember the players you used to post like 6 months ago. Wow. You've really gotten better. Nice job Sjax, you've become an excellent success, um, modeplayer.

thanks.
yeah, i played with xavier crakhed the other day in fielding practice, and from shallow right field the ball bounces 2-3 times before reaching 2nd base! (His stats are BCDGG)
I'm going to put up a dishnet poll (a.k.a. Will you USE this player?) just for fun.

i bet a little leaguer could at least make it on one or two bounces to second from center.

his arm strength is 2, so...
i've tried some diving plays with soriano (including two against the galaxy sharks), and it's unreal how quickly he gets the out at first.

All right.
his progress is on the request page.
I got Jaw pretty early on, and S/Led to get gambler's ring from the surprise bag i got.
after that, i just s/led every time i had points, so i could increase his stats every turn, almost.
These were my stats when i got GR:
As of May, Week 4.
TRJ 3
CON G 3
POW F 52
RUN SPD F 4
ARM STR F 4
FLD E 6
E RES F 4
Hot Hitter
Firstball Hitter
Good B2B Hitter

I upped his contact and run speed to B's first.
this happened against the machsocks:

I got hot zones in the middle, middle right after that game. when i was promoted, my contact was an A, run speed B, fielding and e res D's, and power and arm strength were F's.
by the time i started the games (i had no arcs other than sittch's to do), my power was almost a D, I had a B+ in run speed, and an F+ in arm strength.
as of April, Week 1:
TRJ 4
CON A 14
POW C 129
RUN SPD A 14
ARM STR D 9
FLD D 9
E RES C 10
Contact Hitter
Gd Bunt
Hot Hitter
Good B2B Hitter
Firstball Hitter
Gd Strike Zone: Middle, Middle Right.
I proceeded to max out contact and run speed, and increased fielding and arm strength to C's, then B's.
I maxed fielding out, then focused solely on power (i also got gold glover, tough runner, aggressive run).
His power was 174 after the GS game (which I won, 2-0, partially on a soriano HR), and I had tons of money ($2000+)
I sold my prince's necklace, focus stone (from a random RE), which left me with my glove (from sittch) and my GR.
I bought a bat (+4 power), then a bat wax. That increased my power to 181, an A. I gambled for what I could, leaving a couple mentality points so that I could sell my GR (since Poise 4 requires only Mentality points). I just bought bat waxes from then on (and 1 gambler's ticket), and luckily one of the bat waxes gave me +6 power instead of +3.
then i took pix and posted them here.

Yeah, I think Soriano falls a tiny bit short in the field (arm strength) compared to him, though both are gold glovers.
overall, though, I would still go with Soriano over Allen, with or without bias ( ), what with the insane batting stats and multiple position eligibility.

No duh. He'd probably be a DH on my team though... jk.

Although Newt is significantly better in the field, with a stronger arm but also Pivot Man, Barehand Catch and Aggressive field, which are essential for a top defensive second baseman.

(P.S. I already have a DH for my team :) )
