no in fact he never discovered anything the only reason he got the creidit is because he wrote stories about him in discovering the americas so they named it after him and he never got on a boat

Anyways, I got three. One's easy, one's hard, and the last is really hard:

1. During the 2004 season, a huge brawl erupted between the BoSox and Yankees. Though it looked like Pedro shoved this man to the ground, it seems that the man charged Pedro first. Who was that man?

2. This man, as of the 2008 season, had as many saves, a lower ERA, and more strikeouts than Mariano Rivera, and he is 5 years younger. Who is he?

Ummm as far as I know, Zheng He explored the Ocenia give me proof that he discovered America. Beacause I'm quite certain that in 1421-22 (his 6th voyage) he explored East Africa and Arabian Peninsula.

Beacause actually, although Christopher Columbus is the generally the most accepted answer however if it was not him it would be the Vikings as it is said that they have found Viking coins.

However even further back, Americas were discovered by the indians that lived there beacause they were not always there, they started in Asia as nomads. They followed the animals over to the Americas and slowly over time the small groups of nomads spread out in the Americas and settled down.

So you can say Columbus discovered Americas, Vespucci discovered Americas, the vikings discovered the Americas, the nomadic people of Asia/Europe discovered Americas.
