I'm pretty sure lance is right. The coaches will make sure all teams have at least one player, esp since it's a 32 man roster. this goes back to even when my dad was a kid (i believe) so it would have to be a pretty long time ago.

Lance is right. That is how I remembered all the teams. They also said it on the 08 All Star Game.

Chief, in response to the question about the all-star on a world series winning team. I think Lance was responding to mt question of Who won the world series in 1994. Lance can you confirm this? Even though nobody is the answer to both, I think that when he said
