What do you mean? Almost my whole team I got from interact. I've gotten lots of fans that way too.

Are you talking about the button at the bottom of the public fields page where you can talk to people?

Yeah.

That's how you get good players. Unless you've played 80 or more games in a season then you can make waiver claims. Or you've suscribed and you can trade players.

All that happened when I was there was that I met a bunch of fans of other teams.

About one in every 20-30 people there is a player. You just have to be patient. Then as you start winning more games fans from other teams will decide to come to one of your games. If you play a game within an hour then you gain a lot more fans than you would've gotten.

First part, well that's cool, as an MLBPP player you have to have some patience what with S/L and all.

Second part, I'll have to remember that if I ever win any games.

In a game where nobody has built up buzz 4 fans are divided between the two teams. Usually 3 to the winner and 1 to the loser unless it's a blowout or it goes extras. I think the fans you would've gotten multiplied by the amount of Buzz you built up equals the fans you get. I could be wrong on that but it seems like that's what it is.

I talked to over 75 people, one of them had more options, but there was nothing impressive I could tell him, my options were:
"Our record is 1-4"
"We just lost to the Mudville Niners 9-0"
"We have 5 fans so far"

Which is why it is easier to get fans when you're better.

Still never found a player. After over 150 people.

That's strange. You must just be having bad luck. What option are you picking? I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not but I usually say:"Have you ever been to a baseball game before" then if it's a player I usually ask them to join the team. If it's a fan it's usually I'm the owner of the Mudville Niners.

Edit: I forgot to mention that when you click talk to someone players take longer to load than fans.

Because of all the buzz I got before waiting for a player, I got 18 fans in a game I lost badly.
