I did too my brother!! Don't forget the Legendary Ps2

I'm intending to get 2008 the day it comes out. Normally I'd preorder from Amazon, but in the interest of satisfying my impatience I will likely figure out where I can buy it locally that day instead

That makes two of us. I need instant gratification on this one. I might take some time off work just to play this game.

I am sad.

I probably might, once I come home from vacation.
However, my dad will probably go bargain-shopping first.

I tell you what, if I can preorder and help the site, I will delay my instant gratification with a liberal substitute of my favorite drink of choice.

According to 2K Sports website the DS version won't be looking as enjoyable as the PS2/Wii versions:

Notice the DS version is missing Success Mode, Season Mode & MLB Life Mode to name a few.
This is disheartening if correct and I don't think I'll be buying.
Guess I'll keep playing Power Pro Kun 10 and invest in a Japanese dictionary.

I have to wonder if that's accurate missing the season mode, I expected it to lose out on Success/MLB Life as GameSpot mentioned as much but without even a season mode as well all you've got is a bunch of one-off games and a basic playoffs setup. Pretty limited gameplay functionality in the game.
I can't imagine that holding anyones interest very long.

Without Success/MLB Life I have no interest in the DS version. Disappointing, as the handheld version of the Japanese Pawapuro games didn't strip it out.

I hope you are right. Since Power Pro Kun 10 has a story mode, it would be criminal not to include one here.

I get so pumped just imagining what this game could bring and it scares me that they might mess it up.

By the way,
I've been playing Power Pro Kun 10 for about a month now and it is hands down the funnest game I've ever played on DS. I can't read Japanese and can only play the Pennant mode where the only roster changes I can make are Pinch Hit & Relief Pitcher, so that's saying a lot about this game!
