I got it using the PS2 code! Can't wait to try it out!

If you unlock a batting stance in success mode, are you able to choose that stance in the options menu to buy?

No. That's why we're so surprised!

The source is unreliable but it might be worth a shot. I googled the PS2 code and found that one posted as a pair on a Japanese BBS with no explanation.

I've already tried this on PS2 and nothing happened, so I figure it's either a fake or the equivalent code for the Wii.

No one's tried this yet?

I tried it. It didn't work. The Ps2 code works for both.

I must have been entering it wrong. I'll try again tonight. On the Wii, joystick or D-pad?

Try the D pad first.

I have posted a question about this on the 2K boards:

Hopefully they give an answer.

I just got the code to work with the Wii version. I used the directional pad on a GC controller, and did it just from exiting another menu screen.

Which stances did this unlock?

It looks like

C Counsel, Alvin Lockheart, Patrick Gainer for batting.

Alvin Lockheart for pitching.

edit: original 1 and 2 look like they're from success mode as well, one of them looks like the "gun stance" that the army team uses.

If there is any confusion with the code, it is ONLY directional buttons. (up down left right)

Can you go into more detail as to how you did it?

Did you use the PS2 code that was posted on the 1st page?
At what screen did you do it?
What option was highlighted?

Right, Left, Up, Down, D, R, R, U, U, L, D, L.

after some experimentation, the key seems to be not pausing too long between button presses. I have been able to get the code working multiple times (i hear the noise) without leaving the main menu screen, and with the cursor in many different starting positions.

I only attempted this with the GC controller, and with the directional pad.

edit: just got it to work with the directional pad on the Wii conttroller, btw.

Confirmed. Used WiiMote controller.

You have to push it so it sounds like a steady pulse of motion, *bip*bip*bip*bip*bip*bip*bip*bip*bip*...

When you're good, it'll give you a little jingle.
