I'm somewhat convinced that it's not coming out because of The Bigs2. NOBODY buy any of their games. :evil: :evil:

Not that I would anyway. The original sucked really badly. It took 2 days to finish for good.

I didn't get to try Homer Run Pinball though.(no 360) that was the only reason I rented it.

The ad for it looked cool. I imagine for wii it would have been pretty awesome w/motion controls and miis and all that jazz.

Let me tell you why this will come out. To have MLB players in your game, a game need to have a licence from the MLB (which they need to buy. There are some exceptions in which teams negotiate either directly with the players themselves (which would mean every single player you want to put in the game) or with the players union). 2K has exclusive rights to the MLB license. Konami has none. In order for them to put MLB players in there game, they need the licence. 2K's name is no where on the Japanse site. Why would 2K lend their licence for free? It makes no sense, unless there was also an American game in which they would get money from. Plus Power Pros 2008 was marginally more profitable then 07, and while it wasn't exactly a goldmine, it earned enough to continue another year. In every review of a Wii Baseball game, you always hear that MLB Power Pros is the best game out there for the wii. With so many positive reviews, chances are the next one would sell a little better too. So why not make another one? It doesn't make any sense to me.

It doesn't make sense to me either but so far we have some pretty conclusive evidence.

If that is true, How does MLB the Show come out every year with the MLB and Player's union license? I'm hopingif 2K passes on the game, someone else will pick it up or Konami's US branch decides to publish it. I mean someone has to.
